  1. That list could've been a lot worse. I don't agree with it, but nothing offends me. One thing though: Smells Like Teen Booty > Smells Like Teen Spirit.
  2. Morriseys great vocals came from his lyrics and flow, not his voice as such. He didn't have a great range, either in tune or passion. Also, for those who have been singing Grace's praises for Jeff Buckleys vocals, check out Sketches For My Sweetheart My Drunk. It's got, IMHO, better singing than Grace. Also, if this is the 22 best singers since 1983, I don't think Freddie Mercury should be that high. His reputation was built on his singing in the seventies. In the eighties, his vocals were hidden more behind slight distortion, and his range was much slighter.
  3. Coke. Cherry Coke is the God of all drinks. Also, WTF is Pepsi Blue? We don't get it over here. That sounds like a good thing.
  4. True that. But still, Chavo would probably be in the same position as Noble and Kidman if not for Eddie. I think they ought to give Kidman his old Filthy Animals attire and stick him with Noble as a Tag team. Even if they're only at the bottom of the tag ranks, it's better than where they are now...
  5. Kidman can't work a mike, and is too small to be given a major push by Vince. He's also nothing amazingly special, just above average. Also, he hasn't got a gimmick, despite the fact that he needs one more than most in the company. And Chavo only got a push because of Uncle Eddie, unfortunately.
  6. Ok, but I'm a generic first knight, ok?
  7. I leave the house at 4 am and watch the sun rise over Milton Common. I'm tired as hell for the rest of the day, but it clears my mind and sorts my head out.
  8. For London Calling, that is one of the greatest British albums of all time. It just distills the essence of the struggle of the intelligent inner-city working class against prejudice and complacency better than any other Clash album. It's also the Clash album which brings together the lyrics, bass lines and tunes and places them in a well produced environment. If anyone has never really heard The Clash, get this album. Anyway, back to: Song: "The Soft Parade"- The Doors
  9. *the generic knight walks into the thread whistling a happy tune, and sits quietly in the corner looking at his feet, not bothering anyone*
  10. It's worth getting the DVD for the boy band videos alone.
  11. I second that motion.
  12. Aren't Echmo and Rikishi related? That does suck though to a degree. The poor guys were boughtr up from developmentals as a decent new tag team and got saddled with a crap gimmick and a "gay" manager.
  13. care to elaborate? I would like to say, before I start, that this is purely subjective, so don't flame me. Please? The album has never grtabbed me in the way that most Floyd albums have. It comes across as a poor mans Dark Side in many ways. I appreciate that it was just before DSOTM, and it's not fair to compare it to that album, but at the same time it just sounds like theres something missing. The instrumentals suck in my opinion, and the whole thing doesn't seem to flow the way that the other albums do, maybe because its a soundtrack. Then again I'm not a massive fan of Dark Side either, so maybe thats why. Having said that, I've heard some people speak highly of it, and if someone can convince me of it's benefits I'd be more than willing to give it another chance.
  14. Westlife? That person better be something special! For me: Jeff Buckley - Morning Theft and Sigur Ros - Agaetis Bryjun
  15. The Pixies: Dolittle GREAT album. I personally prefer it to their other albums. The second track (tame?) pisses me off though. Obscured by Clouds by the Floyd The worst Roger-era Floyd album. That about says it all. Band: The Mars Volta

  17. Cool! Got me a fan-boy!
  18. I'm aiming to be in the last 16. I'm already beating Kotz by a healthy margin
