The problem with Harvin's injury is that he has had nagging ankle problems for pretty well the bulk of his career at Florida (I believe the ankle he hurt today was the same ankle that required surgery in the off season). I'm quite worried at this point, but hopefully he'll be good to go in a week.

This whole argument might not matter considering Texas Tech is currently down by 2 touchdowns in the mid 3rd quarter to Baylor of all teams.

No Gator fan is forgetting that loss, believe me. I realize it was a inexcusable loss, but lest we forget that USC was still very much in the hunt after a loss to a god awful Stanford.

Holy shit, a fucking insane ending in the Devils-Caps game. A ridiculous last 40-50 seconds culminates with Ovechkin scoring with less than a second left to tie it at 5 and send it to overtime.

Probably one of the dumbest plays I've ever seen as on the kickoff a South Carolina player attempted to throw the ball probably 20 yards across the field to another player who couldn't catch it and Florida recovers for a TD.

Not sure if anyone heard of this story, but Myron Rolle, a star safety at Florida State is up for the Rhoades scholarship. His interview for the scholarship would have forced him to miss the Noles' next game, until the NCAA stepped in and pushed the game time back and granted Rolle a private jet flight from the interview to the Noles' game. A real nice story, Rolle is clearly one hell of a player and just as good of a person.

Coaches' Poll AP Poll

Even as a die hard Gator fan its difficult for me to justify putting Florida over Texas at this point. Yes, Florida is arguably the hottest team in the country right now, but losing at home to a pretty bad Ole Miss team is inexcusable, while Texas lost to a damn good Texas Tech team on the road on a last second miracle. Unless Texas loses again, I really can't argue putting the Gators ahead of the Horns.
