No, it was supposed to be 22 episodes. They just redid the next episode to be the end of the year, leading to the rushness of it all. I think he meant this volume, not the season overall. It was supposed to be 11 episodes, the 11th ep though was just supposed to be a cliffhanger leading to the next volume after the break not a season finale that it's now going to be because of the strike.

They're not really rushing, the season was gonna be two different volumes, just if the strike doesn't end we won't be seeing the second vol this season.

I could see them doing a Silence of the Lambs type of thing with Dexter being used to help on a case from behind bars...or even have it involve Dexter's trial. He goes on trial, obviously would be a big spectacle, would be alot of people rallying to set him free because he kills bad guys. While all that's going on new killings start..<shrug> just some stuff I was kicking around.
