Next to Arkansas State, Houston was the worst team in the bowls this year so I wasn't surprised at all that Kansas handled them.

Marvin Graves, Syracuse's all-time leader in passing yards, and Arizona cornerback Todd Burden. I searched to find out more about Todd Burden, as I know everyone is dying to know what happened to him, and found this: You got to pay $9.95 to find out what happens! Damn them for leaving me on the edge of my seat! Oh and I was wrong about the GMAC Bowl. Wow this game ended up blowing.

Aloha Stadium's capacity is only 50,000. 38,322 was the largest crowd they get for the Hawaii Bowl. They did sell out the 1989 Aloha Bowl when they played Michigan State but that was their only appearance in that bowl. Just searched for ticket information to this year's game and as of December 16th Nevada had only sold 75 tickets for their rooting section.
-
You know what I completely forgot about Randy Winn. Sooo they just acquired a guy owed $14 million for the next two years to be a 4th outfielder. Obviously they need one since you can't rely on Bonds to play everyday but obviously were more sensible options out there.
-
ESPNews is reporting it. Original report is from local station KNBR which is the Giants' station.
-
Giants trade Edgardo Alfonzo to the Angels for Steve Finley. Opens up center for Erstad maybe? Let's see Bonds, Finley, Alou. Not going to be a flyball caught all year in that outfield.

Deadline passed. No one picked Florida State in the Orange Bowl so that game will be tossed out. Tonight's game is only worth one point. 28 out of 30 people picked Southern Miss. Hawk 34 and Rrrsh were the only ones to pick Arkansas State.
