  2. Pulling this from other thread since it's a new week, quote by iggymcfly: Leinart completes 67% of his passes. So if he wasn't missing open receivers or making bad reads what his completion percentage be? 75%? 80%? Sam Keller completes 59% of his passes with arguably just as good as receiving core as Leinart has at USC, with the notable exception of the great receiving option out of the backfield. Part of the reason Leinart is successful is that he does do a great job of reading coverages as he doesn't have as big of arm or the atletic ability of some quarterbacks.
  3. Yup the MAC is waaaaaaaaaaaaay down this year. Back-to-back weeks two of their best, Bowling Green and Toledo, have been smoked by two of the best of the WAC, Bosie State and Fresno State.
  4. They can name a national champion but it is the not the official national champion recognized by the NCAA and the AP no longer is involved with determining who plays for the national championship. The AP could name Idaho it's champion if it wants but it won't mean anything.
  5. They are only ranked in the Harris Poll which is what I used for the rankings since the AP Poll is officially irrelevent now.

  7. The Giants are now closer to winning their division than the A's. Kill me. This is a sick joke. Hell give me another Red Sox/Yankees ALCS over a losing Giants team making the playoffs.
  8. God damn Padres. It is an absolute joke the god awful Assholes by the Bay are still in this.

  12. 1st and 3rd, no out, and the A's don't score. Pretty much sums up the season right there. Barring a 9th inning comeback their season is done as they aren't sweeping the Angels in four games.
  13. Who voted for Idaho? Arizona? Illinois? Syracuse? Bowling Green?
  14. I highly doubt that. No one complained about Miami/Ohio State a few years ago, in fact the BCS got a lot of undeserving praise for managing to match-up the only two undefeated, major conference teams like it was some major accomplishment. Imagine if they hadn't matched those two up?
  15. I might have to murder the entire Padres team if they let the Giants win the division. Four game series coming up with a four game lead. The Padres better at least get a split.
  16. Oh for Christ's sake you know you've been OK so far this season on the board but don't try pull this you against the world crap again. This anit-Big XII thing is all in your fucking head and you bring it upon yourself. Just stop it. On a completely different subject I've looked all over the place for this new Harris Poll that's supposed to come out today but no sign of it. Maybe they are waiting until Tuesday.
  17. I didn't watch a single moment of either series. I'd rather watch any two teams in baseball play each other than those two. It's not their fault, it's just the media has over exposed the rivalry to the point where I have no interest in seeing them play each other.
  18. With the A's playoff hopes almost gone the only thing I'm hoping for now (beyond the Giants not making it which seems safe) is the Indians winning the Wild Card. The nation must be spared a third straight Yankees/Red Sox ALCS at all costs.
  19. I don't understand why the polls couldn't be bothered to wait until Tuesday especially with two Top 10 teams playing on Monday. It'd be one thing if both Tennessee and LSU had off weeks but both play Saturday as well.
  20. After a couple of very good years for the conference the MAC is way down this year. Only Toledo has shown any consistency but they haven't played anyone either until Fresno State this Tuesday.
  21. USC is going to win, Wyoming beat Mississippi, Tulsa beat Memphis, all games that count are done for tonight: Washington State (bravesfan) def. #8 Ohio State (Gert T) Virginia (Edwin MacPhisto) def. Alabama (AlwaysPissedOff) Georgia Tech (iggymcfly) def. Florida International (Vitman X) Maryland (MarvinisaLunatic) def. Rutgers (the pinjockey) Auburn (Agent of Oblivion) def. Oregon (nogoodnick) Penn State (therealworldschampion) def. Northwestern (Kingofthe909 Two match-ups to TBD by Tennesse/LSU: #9 LSU vs. Tennessee Miami vs. USC
  22. The first Harris Poll is released this week which will officially make the AP poll irrelevent. Should be interesting, hopefully it's less of a joke than the coaches' poll but from the bizarre list of people who are voting on it I'm not so sure if it will be.
  23. Sooo should South Florida make plans for the Orange Bowl? Wow is the Big East a joke.
  24. Colorado State beat Nevada, Wisconsin beat Michigan, five match-ups decided. Buffalo (Black Widow) def. #4 Notre Dame (Lando Griffin) #7 Syracuse (CanadianChris) def. UCLA (phoenixrising) Arizona State (Spicy McHaggis) def. Connecticut (DragonLordKaiba) San Diego State (Porter) def. Kent State (JHawk) Hawaii (Will Scarlet) def. Minnesota (Vern Gagne/Edwin MacPhisto)
  25. Obviously steroid testing is effecting the thin, mountain air...
