  1. You must have a crappy connection then. I've been on 24/7 Online since last March and never had any buffering at all once the video starts.
  2. Apparently he's one of the few people that likes where the WWE head offices are located. All during ECW, Joey Styles made his home ironically enough in Stamford, Connecticut. It was only recently that he moved his family ironically enough x2 to Atlanta, GA for a new advertising job. Odds are, Joey's going to move back to Stamford.
  3. This sounds like something that should have gone into the current 24/7 thread.
  4. PWInsider says Kennedy is out for at least 6 months.
  5. Straight from WWE.Com WWE.com has learned that Joey Styles has signed a five-year contract to be the play-by-play man for Monday Night RAW. When we spoke with Styles a few weeks ago, he mentioned that becoming the voice of RAW would be a dream come true for him. WWE.com would like to congratulate Joey Styles on his new position. Check back here Monday at noon for an in-depth interview with Joey Styles regarding becoming the full-time play-by-play man for RAW.
  6. If WWE gets serious with the drug testing, get ready for more Murdoch types.
  7. How can you tell that he tore his hamstring? This is the first time I heard about this. Well, Angle said he did. And he does grab his leg at the time he pinpointed.
  8. I remember Angle tearing his hamstring 20 seconds into the WM19 match.
  9. It's like that one night on Nitro in mid-99, Lex Luger hit Bret Hart in the face with a gimmicked baseball bat. Hart sold it like death to the point where the Internet was going crazy.
  10. You do realize that you can't spell "Elizabeth" without "Beth"...right?
  11. Well, they had to release him because he had a pretty significant personal situation at the time that was well-guarded. I think it had something to di with assault on a police officer or something.
  12. The entire Billy & Chuck wedding had a great ending I never saw coming. Rico, acting as Bischoff's mole, was absolutely genius. I wish WWE still had some of that creativity now.
  13. "To all my fans, I'm in perfect health. Thank you for your many kind comments, prayers and concern about me, but, again, I am healthy and in great shape. Yes, naturally I have a few minor aches and pains due to bumps and bruises but certainly nothing at all life-threatening or anything that will keep me from participating in the ring. Also, I DO NOT nor would I EVER do anything that would jeopardize my health or my life, as has been fabricated on many website chat rooms. This great outpouring of concern for me demonstrates that my fans appreciate my hard work and dedication to be best. I have the greatest respect for all my fans, my family and everyone at WWE. I will never let you guys down. God bless you and thank you for your support." -- PWTorch
  14. World Wrestling Entertainment recently signed Eddie "Ekmo" Fatu, who previously worked for the company as Jamal of Three Minute Warning to a new deal, bringing him back to the company for the first time in several years. Three Minute Warning had a run as Eric Bischoff's thug tag team in 2002 and 2003 before Jamal was released in the wake of a personal situation. TMW had a long run in the WWE developmental program using the team name "The Island Boys" prior to being brought up. Using the Ekmo name, he had worked for TNA, All Japan Pro Wrestling (where he challenged for the Triple Crown), and the now-defunct Major League Wrestling. Of late, Ekmo had been appearing for Nu-Wrestling in Italy, which is booked by Rikishi. Given that Rosey has been off WWE programming of late, it's possible there are creative plans to reunite TMW, but that has not been confirmed. credit: PWInsider
  15. I guess I did read it wrong. My apologies.
  16. Um, is there a way I can remove that line about my post being edited?
  17. It was either Jericho or Benoit. I wonder if there will be any backlash on Mysterio since Meltzer openly fingered him as someone that e-mailed him saying how regretful he was. But I agree with whoever e-mailed that to Jericho. They all had the power to say no and didn't. So whatever.
  18. Are the proceeds going to the Guerrero family like the t-shirt on Shopzone?
  19. The "full" Xanta Klaus run lasted about a week. He debuted at the PPV and then wrestled one match on Superstars the next week, against Scott Taylor. And that was it.
  20. Turfcutters.
  21. Nothing will beat JBL's beekeeper suit with the WWE title on the outside of it.
  22. Close the thread because it's a stupid subject to even be debating about.
  23. All I know is that if Ric Flair ever beat up my car, I'd beat it up with him. He's that awesome.
  24. There's already a big thread on this that will probably answer your questions. Search for it in the archives, as I have a class in 30 minutes and cannot do it myself.
  25. I expected nothing less from Rudo, whose entire gimmick is going against what everyone thinks on the boards just for the sake of going against them. How have you escaped bannination this entire time? That is the question I ask God every night before I go to sleep.
