I applied for a spot on the creative team in March, but they told me they were aiming for people with soap opera experiences and that I would not be needed as of right now. But they did "appreciate my vast knowledge of the history and the workings of professional wrestling." What does that second "W" stand for again?

They said that Lawler sent down word that he didn't have to wrestle the Harts because he knew he was already better than them and he let Shawn Michaels wrestle in his place so he could get revenge against Bret Hart for Survivor Series '92, where Hart defeated Michaels in the main event.

RVD injured a ref? Uh oh...

Although Meltzer said the number was down due to some markets being out because of Hurricane Isabel, WWE won't realize this. But the match really wasn't any good so even if it did pop a rating, it wouldn't be done again on free TV anyways.

Maybe Lita and Savage can do a joint performance or something.

If it hasn't happened, it's not a spoiler as far as I'm concerned.

As a child, I never bought into the Hogan stuff. When they would pan to shots of little kids crying after Hulk Hogan lost the title, I used to always ask my Mom, "Why are they crying?"

"Future WWE house show bookings seem to indicate an imminent split of Los Guerreros, as 10/6 in Trenton has Eddy vs. Chavo vs. Rhyno listed as a three-way." -- Dave Meltzer Wrestling Observer Online

I disagree. I think they should do an angle starting now where Angle completely hits a storyline downward spiral and starts losing to everyone. And then, he can come back at some point and beat the living hell out of someone established and then have his steam pick up again. The Iron Man took a lot from him, so they might as well make it a storyline.

Let's keep Big Show off PPV please.

It's amazing to me how much of a wrestling mark Bubba is. In normal conversations about other subject, he'll use inside wrestling terms as regular words. Unbelievable.
-
They'd probably ruin the match by making Vince the special guest referee or something. There's no way they won't rub SS97 all over it. What am I saying? There's no way any of this will happen anyway because BRET HART WILL NOT WRESTLE AGAIN. Last I heard, the guy doesn't even have 100% mobility. I wouldn't want any man in his condition to take any bumps in a fucking wrestling ring. We need an RNN update on Bret Hart's mobility

I think a return of Sexual Chocolate would be appropriate right about now. I am a mark for that candy bar graphic in his old titantron.

I recognized her when the segment was closing but had no idea who the other girl was.

Does it really come as a shock to anyone that Rob Van Dam didn't attend?

Maybe UT can get a tip on those awesome hair extensions Billy Gunn wore at Vengeance.

I went into this match unbelievably excited. I didn't read the spoilers for the first time since the Billy & Chuck Wedding and even cancelled a lot of plans I had with friends to stay home and watch this match. And I was utterly disappointed.

1) They were overrated and subsequently overhyped to hell. 2)ANGLE MAAAAAAAAAARK!!!!! if he's an Angle mark, then why is he issuing dissatisfaction with this match?

The WWE style in 2000 was much different than the WWE style in 2003.

Wade Keller... ...is an idiot! HUZZAH

Kane pulled out a great match with A-Train once.
-
Taker was the one who pulled a *** match out of Cena. Not the other way around. And Cena + Lesnar is terrible, doesn't matter if Cena has a cold. I want to see Cena pushed, but there is no justification for a push based on workrate. As for this match I would put it ***. I didn't go in with high expectations (I thought WM was overrated), and the match didn't do anything to bring me in and change my mind. Having taped it, hoping for more, I am certainly not going to ever watch it again. They should have saved the third installment of this feud for a year or so, until Lesnar got some experience. This just seemed so paint by numbers. Where was the **** match UT pulled out of A-Train if he had this mystical power?
-
Lock me up then, big boy. Oh man, wait, that sounds wrong...
-
And for the record, in my humble opinion, Lesnar/Angle tonight was **3/4. Anything more would be a crime.

I like Cena, but think about what you're saying. He had great matches against arguably the 2 best workers in WWE, and even Taker has stepped up his game in the past few months, so that match could just as easily be attributed to him carrying Cena. I'm not saying that he hasn't improved, but I think you could use better examples. It takes two to tango. By that logic, A-Train should be having **** matches with these guys.
