I remember reading a long time ago that Josh Mathews got some heat on him for something and that's why he disappeared.

Knox is denying the stuff belonged to him.

From PWI & Meltz: Former WWE wrestler Andrew "Test" Martin, 33, was arrested Sunday morning in Pasco County, FL, accused of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was stopped on State Road 54 around 10:30 a.m. A trooper noticed that his eyes were glassy and bloodshot while his speech was slurred, according to the police report. The report did say that he did not smell of alcohol at the time but he was arrested on charges of DUI and driving while his license was suspended or revoked. Martin was taken to the Land O' Lakes Jail after refusing to submit to a urine test. On his way to the jail, the trooper stated that Martin, who lives in Tampa, was " constantly falling asleep" in the police car.

This story made the front page of Fark.com. I'd say people care.

It'll be bad if the guy still works for WWE or at least worked with them past November 2005 when the Wellness Policy started. It sounds like it's someone who doesn't work for WWE anymore since they said they think he's living with relatives in another state now.

Wasn't there another claim about Test being booked to win the WWF Title from Triple H on a November 1999 Raw but they changed the finish right before the match and instead had Big Show in it at the PPV?

I was there for that live and I dont remember what it was the Rock did. Only thing I remember about that was Vince and his lethal dose of poison in the nWo. The Rock made Coach do the Charleston dance backstage.

Jeez. I haven't watched Smackdown in months. Vickie is...hmm...not good with the mic.

I agree. All of the mentions of Keith on this board in the last few years haven't been so positive.
-
Scott Keith is still around?

Complete with run-in from former WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, "Nature Fat" David Flair?

Or they could just not do it at all. RVD/Kane vs. Storm/Venis had no place getting bumped off that show.
-
"Death Touch".
-
It'd also make it harder for Triple H to break the record.
-
If they do this right, Batista vs. Shawn Michaels can start off as a good face/face program but once they have that match (presumably at Backlash with a non-finish or maybe a fluke rollup/small package win for either man), then they can up the shithead in Batista to the point where the fans can't stand how he's harassing HBK and that he's taking what happened to Flair all wrong. Then it can be a slow burn for Michaels to finally take enough of his shit and kick his face off and now it has new life as a heel/face feud. I honestly believe if they do this right, this could be stretched out to a big time gimmick match (I'm thinking No Holds Barred) payoff at Summerslam.
-
The thing that caused his WCW injury was that it happened on a house show and since it was a house show, I guess WCW just didn't care to gimmick the tables. Finlay was probably a lot more trusting of WWE.

Tidbits from PWI: -- There was an incident backstage at the Hall of Fame ceremony with some of the developmental talents being chewed out by management for "disrespecting" the main roster by eating at catering before they arrived. -- Big Daddy V was pulled out of the battle royal due to contracting a bout of pneumonia. He was originally replaced by Matt Striker, but they decided on Stevie Richards. -- The only contracted performers that were not in Orlando for the weekend were Boogeyman and Johnny Jeter. No word on why either weren't there. Of course, Highlander Robbie McAllister was sent home after TNA showed him in the crowd at the live Impact. -- The original plan for Undertaker's entrance was to have 24 druids, but they decided to cut it down to 10.

It's not a spoiler if it hasn't happened yet. -
From Wade Keller ================= Duane Johnson, known in WWE of course as "The Rock," did not leave a positive impression on wrestlers at the Hall of Fame banquet on Saturday night. Multiple sources report he did not hob-nob with old friends before or after the Hall of Fame speech. He showed up in time for the speech, delivered an overly-long speech that offended many in WWE, and then left. He came across as "aloof" and "totally Hollywood," as if he were "above WWE now," including all of his colleagues. This surprisingly included one-time good pal Steve Austin, who was said to be openly displeased and taken aback by Johnson's demeanor. "This wasn't a roast," says one wrestler in attendance. "This was supposed to be a tribute to his dad and grandfather. Instead, he did an hour plus of comedy, running way long, then did a short tribute to his dad and grandfather, then left. It was rude of him." The ceremony ran way over the planned length in great part due to Rock's speech. Ric Flair also ran long, but everyone was more forgiving of that since it was his night. Afterward, everyone backstage shared in their disappointment and disgust with how he acted. The feeling was, even if he has heat with some higher-ups in WWE for some reason, he had no reason to treat old friends like discards from a past life. Several people expressed in front of the Hall of Fame crowd derision toward him afterward, including mocking how particular he was about being called Duane Johnson, not The Rock. Dusty Rhodes took a dig at him that did make it to the USA Network telecast. The Rock did not attend WrestleMania, either.

Raw spoiler for Tonight (Post-Mania)
Enigma replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
Wow, JJ Dillion is there? I guess if I can believe Bischoff working for WWE, I can believe Dillon coming back for one night. Where's Ole? -
Yes, PWI said that all the contracted wrestlers except for Highlander Robbie were told to be at Raw.
-
Flair said that when he's done, he's done. No more one night returns or "fake retirements like Foley's". Flair knows that coming back to work another match would be completely tarnish the WM24 moment.

If Eddie hadn't have died, Chavo would have been fired after the Kerwin White mess.
