I can relate. It takes a lot before I'm willing to leave the comfort of my 52" TV. Eh, it isn't really the dearth of other entertainment one can find at home so much as 1) not a lot of new releases making me excited and 2) movie theaters, especially the larger ones, scare the fuck out of me and make me miss the 20th century. You know, back when moviegoing wasn't a multimedia advertising assault that spanned the entire range of ways people could blow their money or erode their brains/bodies. Kind of going for the same thing as your second point, there.

I realized it when I saw that Bret Hart was the first inductee.

I have a feeling in the next few weeks we'll be seeing all the wheelchair gags they had leftover from when Angle was Smackdown GM.

Nice touch. Would it kill you to TRY and be positive about the product? I think the hundreds of dollars I've spent on merchandise and tickets over the years entitles me to recognize when the product has become predictable. And on that note: This is tremendous.

Jessica Simpson's singing career was dead until she was on a hit reality show. Then she started getting TV and movie parts. It can happen. The people who fade into obscurity after the reality show is over are usually just regular people who happen to be on a reality show. I don't think Stacey will do as well as Simpson has, mind you, but the increased fame from being on a top-rated show plus already being in show-business puts her in a position to go on to bigger and better things.
