Come on, the first 10 minutes are classic! I just wasn't feeling it. It was like a satire overdose. And I could've done without Britney Spears as well. I can't really disagree with that.

In this case "those of us" = anyone who has ever read a Doom Patrol comic in their entire life. I'm really hoping Byrne's new characters die horrible, painful deaths before IC is over.

Bob, I'm just going to face the fact that you and I are never going to agree on any movie, ever. Having said that, I'll make no apologies for "The Spy Who Shagged Me" and its obvious inferiority to the first Austin Powers movie. However, the third was just a terrible, unfunny film. Why would I say this? Simply put, the movie was entirely to self-referential. Myers recycled most of the ags in the movie from the gags in the previous movies. While this might've worked had it been a long time since the first two had come out, it didn't work in this case. The rest of the movie, the sorry attempt to reform the Dr. Evil character and make him a good guy, completely nuetered the character. Casting Michael Caine as Austin's father was a good idea, but then they did next to nothing with him. And the subtitles gag about the shittake mushrooms was better left to the 7th grade (and WHY did they feel the need to have Beyonce explain the gag? lame). The opening also dragged on, since having celebrities recite Austin Powers catch-phrases got old fast, and I got tired of Austin Powers imitations around 1998.

Who are the 2 people in the back? ALSO: Good news for Doom Patrol fans. That Teen Titans issue (#32) that shows the Superboy-Prime vs. everybody else battle also undoes John Byrne's Doom Patrol ret-conning from the most recent series, but leaves the original DP line-up still alive.

Yeah, like that's gonna happen. So one thing I noticed over the past 2 episodes. Lex got Lana killed, it wasn't a dream or an illusion, he was responsible for her death. Clark himself said this when he was talking to Chloe later in that episode. So he managed to Deus Ex her death away, but that doesn't change the fact that Lex did get her killed. So then why is Clark been putting up with his usual shit. Whay the fuck hasn't he gone Superboy Prime on Lex's ass yet? I applaud you for turning "Superboy Prime" into an adjective.

I'd say she ruined Goldmember, but Mike Meyers ruined Goldmember. Beyonce was just an after-thought.

RESURRECTION SHIP....err, THREAD I got the 4th season of Enterprise for my birthday late last year. I watched the "Mirror" 2 parter immediately, but didn't revisit the box set until a couple of days ago. I saw a handful of season 4 shows when they originally aired, but (for the most part) missed them. Damn it, if this wasn't some of the best Trek shows since DS9's peak. I was pretty anti-Enterprise until season 4, but this was some good stuff. And damn it if Jolene Blalock isn't my all-time favorite Trek actress.
