The police were on TV last night saying the woman WOULD BE charged with homicide, because she wasn't in any danger, and she could have just honked her horn until someone called the cops for her. Personally, I don't even understand why this is being considered a homicide.

Of course, there's no shortage of people claiming that banning torture endangers our troops. CNN had a big piece on how Bush was claiming victory because of the compromise, even though he's actually just caving in (again). He seems to do that alot, they noted. The examples then went on and on for about 5 minutes. It was hilarious.

The only thing I feel like predicting for this PPV is the buyrater, which will be about 210,000.

Actually when I go back and watch a Raw from 5 years ago, the first thing I notice is how good everything was. Almost everything was entertaining. Every single wrestler was involved in a storyline so it didn't become boring. Interviews don't seem as scripted and rehearsed. Matches were less predictable. Sure, it's mostly crap today and we all complain, but until you put in an old tape, you don't realize just how bad it is. "I CHOPPY CHOPPY YOU PEE-PEE!"

Its not a nomination, its a list. So, technically, they already won. What did they win? A cookie? No, the respect of the 5 people who knew that AFI gave out awards for TV. Having said that, the AFI is far more prestigious than those fucktards at the Golden Globes who only seem to give awards to whatever show has the biggest bandwagon at a given time.
