Superman:TAS Vol 1 and Batman:TAS VOl 2
Toshiaki Koala replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Television & Film
What? No Baby Doll??? And where is Scarface? Oh well, at least Kyodai Ken is on there. It's still a must-buy, no matter what. -
Depends... what the hell is Gwar?

BloodRayne Movie Cast Finalized
Toshiaki Koala replied to Yuna_Firerose's topic in Television & Film
I bet it will be rated PG-13. -
Was the subplot cut for ratings purposes? Maybe the Predator is a child molester or something...

"Farooq, handling the Big Johnson!" "Chyna just gave Al Snow Head!" "The Rock just jerked Helmsley off... the top rope!" "Bah Satan's soul, may he burn in Hell!" It's really no contest.

I know everyone will vote for HBK, but Stephanie was the most memorable for me so I gotta be honest.

I hope Tarantino does direct the next Bond movie, if only so we can see this happen: "The name's Bond. James Bond."

I was on vacation in Rhode Island a few weeks ago and the local video store had Leprechaun in the Hood on VHS for $2... I had to buy it. Outrageously horrible movie, but it's a laugh riot and does contain one of the greatest lines ever: Our heroes are planning to steal a bunch of guns so they can raid Ice-T's office or something, and one of them says, ... "It's like Robin Hood... 'xcept we gon' be robbin' in the hood!" So racist, so funny. I'm probably picking up the Batman: TAS boxed set today.

Do they say fuck?

Actually, someone did just that. His name is George W. Bush. And to think it took fourteen replies for somebody to say that.

Brando, of course. There is no other choice.

Joaquim de Almeida not nominated for 24? Bull-fucking-shit!

But I hate metal! And I can't stand the new right. And... oh... yeah... um... -
Funny how every time someone likes a Vin Diesel movie they say it's his only good one. Just shows what a hack he is.

The MPAA FORCED Léon to be cut by the distributors? I always assumed it was done because they assumed audiences wouldn't appreciate the quieter scenes. It's kind of sick that wouldn't give the movie an R because of these scenes, considering that they DON'T EVEN HAVE SEX. The violence wasn't that extreme, but I would consider it more offensive than two people talking. Another example of an "unrated" version that is better than the theatrical cut is "Badder Santa," the uncut version of Bad Santa. I don't know whether the cuts were made for ratings reasons, but there's an AWESOME scene near the beginning, about seven minutes long, where Billy Bob steals a car, drives to the guy's house, and hangs around there (drinking, using the toilet, etc.). It may not sound that great, but trust me, it's hilarious, probably the funniest scene in the film.

I know other people have said this, but... Actually reading the text of the main post was the most disappointing thing that's happened to me in a long, long time.

Austin v. Benoit, from SD! in Edmonton (2001, I think). -
Beat me to it. Edit: ArkhamGlobe also beat me to it. Damn, I'm stupid.

NO! Box Office Mojo... didn't... like it? Guess I won't be seeing it then. After all, "Box Office Mojo" is the ultimate authority on movies and anything they say is the gospel truth. The movie looks very, very good, though I doubt it will surpass Superman II (the best superhero movie ever). X2 could have been great but the ending was really unsatisfying and rather cliched. Brian Cox deserved a better death scene than that...

I just finished reading The Godfather, and as hard as I tried, I couldn't picture the Don as being any different from the way Brando played him. RIP, you will always be the greatest film actor in history.
