Didn't Roseanne also reveal In The Series Finale that Dan never cheated on her with another woman, she just made It that way In her book because she felt abandoned after Dan died the year before? I always felt that last episode, hell that whole last season, was a shitty way for The Series to go out.

Should be worth a look If only to see what Vince and Co. consider "The Best Of" a Show that was consistently terrible the first 9 Months of the year.
-
Well Said. A bunch of friends and I saw It on The HBO Series "Shock T.V." And shock us It did. And I've seen that footage of the woman blindly running into the train (which didn't affect me much at all) Was that on The same show or a different one? Don't remember that one.

I always thought Cena's act would be better suited for The Raw atmosphere anyways. I.E. more focus on Entertainment than Sport. However If Cena does jump to Raw, RVD should jump to Smackdown! to balance It all out.

Hey Bob, how close did you and The Midget come to exchanging blows? Now that would've been worth the wait,IMO.

Actually Russo was promoted to Head Writer In late 1997, so He was largely responsible for The Success of The Austin McMahon Feud.
-
2000 was one of the best years for WWF, much better than 1999. 2000 was pretty good, as The Writers Vince had at The time were capable. Not as good as The Russo/Ferrera Team was, but that's a matter of personal choice. But alas said Writers quit near The end of 2000, citing burnout as one of The main causes.(Much like Russo and Ferrera a year earlier.) Vince then had the bright idea of placing his inexperienced, undeserving Daughter as Head of Creative. The rest, as they say, Is History.
-
I'm really glad to see a positive thread about Russo for a change. Just look at what Russo accomplished with Ed Ferrera when both were writing for The WWF/E from 1997-1999. Shortly after both departed, It beame obvious that Vince McMahon was not The Creative Genius many thought he was.

Does anybody know why Scott Keith hasn't posted his Smark Raw Rant yet?
-
Since The Alleged Incident Involved 2 Non Cast Members, I'll bet B@M and MTV edit It all out.

I remember The long running WCW Saturday Night Program was cancelled In April 2000. Does anybody recall exactly why It was? The Program, (especially the last few years), never set The Wrestling World on fire, but It always drew decent ratings. Just curious as to why TBS pulled It at the time.
-
Agreed. It seems like for the past month or so Keith has really been dogging It. His Rants always seem to be posted later than what were used to as well.

Was It my imagination or did It seem to anyone else that Seth was trying to crack Dratch up In that last sketch?

Overall I was satisfied with The Season Finale of ESPN's Playmakers. I was kind of disappointed, however, on what happened to The Show's more likable characters. ( I.E. O getting that Model knocked up, his girlfriend leaving him: Leon getting turned down for that announcer job because of the fight with D.H., then having to ask Willbanks for a front office job after he called him an asshole.) In the end, though, It was all worth It to see Taylor score the game winning TD after Coach George benched that arrogant dick D.H. The Cougars not making The Playoffs was sad, but kind of fit the theme of the series. All In All I was pleasantly surprised with "Playmakers" this year. The Storytelling and Continuity were solid throughout. (Something The WWE should look Into) I just hope ESPN brings It back for a second season.

Does anybody want to speculate on who/what John Heidenreich(sp?) "Little Johnny" will end up being, as well as who wrote Booker T the "I Still Remember" note on Raw. My guesses are: 1.) "Little Johnny" will end up being Heidenreich(sp?) doing a split personality gimmick. 2.) Goldust turns heel and feuds with Booker Those are the guesses off the top of my head. Anybody else??

Does anybody remember this particular edition of Nitro In which Curt Henning cut an Intoxicated Promo, as well as a slew of fans charging The Ring at different times throughout the program? Tell me I'm not the only one who remembers this "Memorable" edition of WCW Monday Nitro?

Is The Manhattan Center still around?

Couple question's about ESPN's "Playmakers"- 1.) I know The name of The Fictional Team on The Show Is The Cougars, but have they ever disclosed what City/State they are playing In? (This actually reminds me of HBO's "OZ", In that for The entire duration of It's run, they never revealed where It was taking place. They just referred to It as "this state.") 2.) How many episodes are there remaining? 3.) I know It maybe a bit too early, but did anyone hear If there Is going to be a Second Season? Thanks!

How long Is Keth off exactly? I don't remember him posting his Raw or Smackdown Rant In weeks.
-
Didn't Regal at one point In The Match legitimatley kick Goldberg In his face, stunning him In the process?
-
Yeah, It Is pretty poor. I mean 1 hour of this stuff would be bad enough, but why ESPN decided to give this garbage a 2 Hour timeslot Is beyond me. Cold Pizza will be just plain Cold by the time November Sweeps rolls around. Thea Andrews Is Hot, though, and the best thing about the show. If they have her running around In a Bikini every day, I'd never miss an episode!

The last 2 weeks on Raw saw heels Chris Jericho and Christian both come to the aid of babyfaces Trish Stratus and Lita respectively. Both, I might add, were getting a post match beatdown via Steven Richards and Victoria at the time. I'm going to play Devils Advocate once again and ask you all were you think this angle Is leading. Thoughts?

Just curious as to how many of you have lowered your expectations when rating If Raw or Smackdown! Is good or not. For example, I can't tell you how many times I read on The 'Net a similar version of this: (Particularly when dealing with Raw) "Nothing was expecially good this week, but nothing was horribly bad, either. That Is enough to make It a Thumbs Up Show." When you give a show your seal of approval, Is It because It was firing on all cylinders, or have you lowered your expectations from The Kick-Ass Programs of The late 90's?
