He has the best standup (offensive and defensive) in the 185lb division and I doubt Franklin will submit him. All Franklin can do is lay on him for a decision.

I thought Matt was adaptable. When he faced Mike Nickels, before the fight they showed him talking to Soliz about not wanting to get to the ground bc Matt knew his arm couldnt take it and he'd get tired. I think that showed his adaptability. Does anyone know when Matt-Forbes will be on TV yet? Or any of the other undercard fights from saturday? They showed Hamill vs Forbes on the finale after the main event.

Well since X3 had the second highest opening say EVER (After Revenge Of The Sith) then I guess that the mentality they have is fine. And I quite liked The Punisher. Very underrated and one of the better Marvel movies. Read bob barron's post. X3 will be lucky to make back it 210 million dollar budget. Hulk had the same problem. Once word got out that the movie blew, it finished at 120 million, which is exactly how much it cost to make the movie in the first place. This is not good news in the least. X3 is 4th, not 2nd highest. $210 million budget?! X1 was $75m and X2 was $110m. Fox's faith in Ratner over Singer is rather disturbing. I guess all those explosions don't come cheap, though. 2nd highest opening day gross and 4th highest opening weekend gross.

Worse than Salaverry vs. Marquardt from UFN 1? That wasn't even really a fight. Hamill vs Nickels was definitely the most unskilled fight I have ever seen and it pissed me off just to watch it. I can't think of a more embarassing fightin MMA history because they were both actually trying to "fight."

I just got owned on a sig bet over at Sherdog but I don't even care because of how terrible that fight was. I can't even stop thinking about it. That is definitely the worst MMA fight I have ever seen.

This trailer is the best so far. I'm now confident Superman will destroy X3. Those are quite strong words, Jonathon. You mean quality-wise (could happen) or box office-wise (doubt it)? Quality-wise. Word of mouth for X3 might hurt the numbers later on, while Supermans word of mouth might/could be better, thus a bigger return later. POTC: Dead Man's Chest comes out the week after Superman Returns so that's going to take a lot of money away from it.
