The regular season was infinitely more exciting that the postseason this year. There just isn't a marquee matchup, and that's directly related to all the upsets that made the regular season terrific.

I changed my mind. I'd want to see Johnny Vander Meer's second no-hitter.

It'll be interesting if Clemens actually goes in front of Congress. Either he or his trainer will be lying to the government under oath.

Downie was not suspended by the league. I guarantee this won't be his last conversation with Colin Campbell this season, though. The kid's got some serious anger management issues. Hart Trophy -- I think Iginla's running away with it right now. The Flames shouldn't be anywhere close to leading the division. Take Iginla away and you basically have a southern version of the Oilers.

Hopefully that will teach TK and Rachel to ask for the first flight ARRIVING AT X, instead of just the first flight to X.

I can't believe they'd put the hand bike after the cargo net. The hand bike was tough enough when it came first.

They did. It was in one of the promos. If the contender hits the target, the gladiator gets launched back into the water.

They can get rid of the unseen commentator any time.

Wow, what a good question. My first inclination would be Game 6 of the 1993 World Series, but I was in town for that game and joined the mob on Yonge Street afterward, so I'll pass on that one. Game 7 of Lakers/Blazers is another interesting choice, as is Game 3 of the 1987 Canada Cup. I'd have to go with Super Bowl XXXII, narrowly edging out the 1986 Masters and the 2002 Olympic men's hockey gold medal game.

They haven't. Both venues are supposed to be decided this summer.

You might have redemption waiting if the 'of course' comes true. Three of the next four are in Canada, and the one that isn't is in the States somewhere. Yeah, but next year is the only one I can actually attend.

I'm excited about the tournament coming to Ottawa next year. Of course, that'll be the year Canada finishes fifth.

I got completely out of debt (except for my mortgage), went on two terrific vacations and lost about 35 pounds. I'd say it was a pretty good year. The only real black mark on 2007 was the arrival in November of a bunch of idiot girls in the apartment above ours, who proceeded to blast us out of house and home with their loud stereo, loud arguments and pretty much loud everything at all hours of the day and night. It looks like they're being evicted within days, though.

What the hell is it about the Capitals that makes the Sens goalies turn into sieves? 17 goals in just under 3 games played so far. Gerber's let in 10 goals in about 66 minutes against them.
