  1. Contradict yourself much?
  2. Retired a few years ago. I read somewhere she runs a yoga school in Oregon.
  3. Why would they blatantly disrespect Calvin Schiraldi like that?
  4. Has this been as bad as it sounds? I doubt I'll be watching Raw tomorrow night, judging by this PPV.
  5. When was the last time a 2/3 fall match ended up with someone winning two straight?
  6. The only shirt I ever wore out in public was my Austin 3:16 shirt (the original one).
  7. Returning as Syracuse. Hopefully I can finally avoid choking away the conference title and bowl games, which I've done each of the past two years.
  8. I remember a match with Hogan on Maple Leaf Wrestling where Hogan blocked the mist and rubbed it in Kahn's eyes before finishing with the usual.
  9. Group II free agent. He made $1.3 million last year.
  10. Some interesting news in today's Ottawa Sun... - Redden appears to be all but re-signed by Ottawa, and a deal could be announced within 48 hours. - The Sens have also made progress with Zdeno Chara. - Havlat appears to be done with the Sens. Potential trade partners include the Kings (for Alexander Frolov) and Carolina (for Erik Cole). - With Luongo traded, the Sens look like they're going to try to sign Hasek for one more season ($500K + bonuses). - The Sens would have had to give up Havlat, Emery, Phillips and their first-round pick to get Luongo. Considering what Luongo actually went for, that seems ludicrous in retrospect.
  11. No mention of Hamilton, or even Toronto for that matter. I don't mind either of those places. Hamilton gets a bad rap that isn't really deserved. Sure, Toronto is no Vancouver, but it's no Detroit, either.
  12. Patrick O'Sullivan and the #17 pick go from Minnesota to the Kings for...Pavol Demitra. That got a big "WHOAAAAAAAA" from the crowd in attendance.
  13. According to me, Jeff Brantley is an idiot. Just abolish the fucking save already.
  14. Alex Tanguay goes to Calgary for Jordan Leopold and a second-round pick this year and next. Pittsburgh takes Jordan Staal. Johnson went to the Blues #1.
  15. Yes, that's why Hernandez came out. Randolph just made a mistake -- he originally went out to talk to the umpires, then went to the mound, forgetting he couldn't.
  16. Actually, Hernandez didn't get tossed...Randolph came out to calm him down, but it was a second visit in the inning because the pitching coach had already visited the mound. Heh. I've never seen that before.
  17. El Duque just buzzed one by Troy Glaus' head after Vernon Wells smacked a 3-run homer off him, and looks like he got tossed.
  18. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. That would suck. I don't want to have to buy TBS. And if the Braves announcers come with the deal, heaven help us all.
  19. Sudbury, Windsor and Saint John are worse. Saint John is a little pocket of crap in the middle of a really nice area.
  20. Apparently, the Knicks are citing a specific reason why they don't have to pay Brown the full $40 mil: That seems awfully petty to me. Can't say I'm too surprised at this approach, though, considering who we're talking about.
  21. Vancouver made out like absolute bandits in this trade. They get one of the league's premier goalies and don't have to give up anything big. Bertuzzi's on his way down. Even if they can't resign Luongo after this season, they finally have someone in net that will allow them to make a run at the Cup this season. Florida's chances of making the playoffs just took a huge step backward. They desperately need some good blueliners, because there's no way they're going to give up 2500+ shots on goal per season, as they have been, and remain competitive with Alex Auld in net instead of Luongo.
  22. You know, it's gotten to the point where I'd be more surprised if Julio Franco WASN'T playing baseball on his 50th birthday than if he was.
  23. That's been my question all along. How are scientists able to separate the man-made contribution to climate change from the natural contribution? How can they determine, with any level of certainty, that "natural cycles are a minor factor"? Climate is a chaotic system; I would think there's a lot of room for error in any attempt to model it.
  24. The Mets/Jays game tonight should be pretty high-scoring, if Glavine's and Janssen's last few starts have been any indication. Both those guys are probably going to the showers early.
  25. Here is the article. They rigged it for Lefty. No Mickelson questions, though.
