Just about anything from WCW during the nWo angle would qualify, as they generally had great cruiser matches and Chris Benoit/Raven/X-Pac in the undercard with Hogan almost always in the main event. The best example I can think of for WWE would have been Summerslam 95. Mostly not bad, with the kickass HBK/Razor ladder rematch and a surprisingly decent Bret/Glen Jacobs match, but Diesel/Mabel was utter crap.

At least they had the good sense to cut Joe Carter loose. I love the guy, but he was one of the worst color guys I've ever heard.

The list begins and ends with Tim McCarver. He's the absolute worst. Others not mentioned so far: Dick Enberg (senile), Dan Dierdorf (talks too much), Billy Packer (as bad as Vitale at times), Bill Raftery (if I hear, "MANNAMAN!" many more times, I'm going to snap).

I can't compare the two. They sucked in such completely different ways that I can't really say which was worse. Yes, WWE is still in business, but I don't know that having WWE still around to bore everyone to death in 2006 and beyong is such a good thing.

Pierre has a better combination of knowledge and honesty than any announcer in any sport, except maybe Johnny Miller. It's a shame he was forced to cut back on his radio segments, because that's where he really shines. He's not as loud as on TV, and has the most intelligent conversations about hockey that you'll ever hear.

I see nothing wrong with Canada's unis. The side stripes aren't quite my thing, but they're decent. Aren't these the same ones the Olympic teams will be wearing? Canada looking like world-beaters against Finland.
