Wasn't ratings lower for the Cards/Tigers series? Or am I remembering wrong? Yes, Cards/Tigers was the lowest rated Series ever, followed by Sox/Rox last year, then Sox/Astros.

The league office does. So does fox. And if ratings get much lower, I wouldn't put it past them to make some drastic change that they think everyone will like but will really suck (kind of like This Time It Counts©).
