  1. Well, that's good news for Eddie, I guess...
  2. I'm pretty sure the only way they wouldn't be found out is if they never had a Social Security number (which means no pension cheques for them). If not, it's fines and/or jail, since it's mandatory to file a tax return.
  3. Messier doesn't even have ten games left in his career, from the looks of it. He got two so that he'd have one home game left for the MSG fans to say goodbye.
  4. Sammy Farha (sp). Farha's from Lebanon. Was it Benvisitsi? Actually, his beat on Humberto Brenes (calling an all-in bet while holding pocket eights to Brenes' pocket aces with only two cards left to come and a K-9-2 flop) was heinous.
  5. Gerasimov - never heard of him. Hellmuth - an ass. His book is vastly overrated, too. Ivey - This guy, I like. He could be around for a good long while. The guy I really like is Daniel Negreanu (being a fellow Canadian and all). A solid all-around player, and I would be shocked if he didn't make one of these events really soon.
  6. Bundy, easily. Just another Big Fat Heel for Hogan to squash.
  7. If you get CityTV, they apparently carry the WPT on Sundays. DAMN! Wish I'd known about this when it started. Thanks, though...I'll at least make sure to watch the second half of the season.
  8. Well, I'm dead. I think. At least Kentucky lost too...makes up for losing two Final Four teams and my eventual winner. Someone's going to have to beat UConn in the regional final, though.
  9. The "Air Jordan/Hare Jordan" commercial was also excellent. I really liked the Mars Blackman ads back in the late 80s/early 90s, too.
  10. Why use real money? I rather play the half-ass poker on Yahoo for free. Yahoo usually doesn't pay out real money, though.
  11. What kind of crappy-ass timing is this? All the games are at halftime. There should be a game going ALL THE TIME!!!
  12. I figured there was a lot more competition for WMOTN than for MOTN.
  13. It might not be a classic, but I didn't like the ending to Minority Report. I liked what seemed to be the ending, but then the movie went on for another thirty minutes. Spielberg's directed some great movies, but he needs to figure out how to end them properly.
  14. Go Ragin' Cajuns!!
  15. Screw ESPN...this channel is the American channel I want to get the most but can't. At least Season 1 is out on DVD.
  16. The Tiger Woods/Charles Barkley Nike ad cracks me up. And the Bird/Jordan McDonald's ad is the greatest ad done by athletes EVER.
  17. A nice link, for all you who couldn't see the CBC broadcast the first time around... http://www.cbcshop.ca/CBC/shopping/product...iant_ID=33919E)
  18. Syracue tied it going to the half.
  19. My top 25: Wayne Gretzky Mario Lemieux Bobby Orr Gordie Howe Maurice Richard Doug Harvey Terry Sawchuk Jean Beliveau Bobby Hull Eddie Shore Jacques Plante Guy Lafleur Glenn Hall Phil Esposito Stan Mikita Ray Bourque Mark Messier Marcel Dionne Patrick Roy Mike Bossy Paul Coffey Brett Hull Steve Yzerman Joe Sakic Jaromir Jagr I wouldn't put Forsberg anywhere in this list. I can't think of one person here he's clearly been better than.
  20. Salukis up 6 early against Alabama. Somewhere, Johnson is unhappy.
  21. Um...are we getting one of these threads for every single day in the tournament? My bracket's already screwed. Thanks for nothing, Charlotte.
  22. Both. Ottawa's playing like shit right now.
