Now for one of my few posts in this folder. Jerk hit the nail on the head in why most people support this legislation. Here in California it is a huge problem, we (the voters) overwhelmingly passed Proposition 187 in 1994 that would have curbed the problem 13 years ago by denying benefits to illegals. Unfortunately, the lawyers got it thrown out. Not only that why should we reward people for breaking the law? Last I checked, you get punished for breaking the law. Look I'm all for immigration, people from other countries looking for a slice of the American Dream, a great case in point is our Governor.
