but it was a great experience nonetheless. The movie seemed to last a lot longer than an hour and a half, but in the best possible way.
Really? I own The Shining on DVD, and while it scared me when I was younger, I find it to be pretty boring and uneventful these days. The book was excellent and frightening, but the movie does not hold up for me.
