I just picked up Gears of War, Assassin's Creed (both at Target), Lego Indiana Jones, and Lost: Via Domus (both at Wal-Mart) earlier today. All brand new, for $108 and change.

I often get calls saying I've won the "free Orlando vacation" I registered for. The fuck I did! I know I didn't win shit and I am not traveling to the exact opposite side of the country to sit in on your time share pitch. I either use the opportunity to fuck with them, or I give "my" information as that of my enemies and pass the problem on to them.

All the Taiga Star hate saddens me. It's one thing to pick on me- it's often undeserved, but I've done plenty of stupid shit here in the past. However, just because she has the audacity to be a woman posting here who isn't considered attractive, she's bashed... That kind of disappoints me, especially since it's so highly reflective of how the world works in general. And on another note, one thing I miss about the Midwest- freakish rainstorms. I love some rain, especially when it's warm out, but in semi-desert area SoCal, rain doesn't come very often.

Ninja Gaiden looks cool. I loved the NES games. But I'm very wary of putting $60 toward a game I know nothing about, which got good but not great reviews, and I haven't even played the Xbox version. But I guess I differ from most people in that I am much more interested in Lego Indiana Jones than badass ninja action.

I noticed something strange. ITS A FUCKING RCA. They are horrible, one of the worst companies making tvs. Oh, and you're stetching 4:3 too!. ugh A) I didn't have to pay for the TV. It works great, too. B) I am "stetching 4:3" because DirecTV fucks their customers. They offer amazing deals to new customers when it comes to HD receivers, but charge 5 times more for existing customers to "upgrade". Um, no. This has nothing to do with what type of programming is on the TV.

Are you saying there's some ambiguity over whether Mikhail is really dead or not? The dude is 100% dead. No, I'm well aware that he's dead now. But there were two 'false alarms' about him being dead, first when he was shoved into the electric fence and then when he was shot in the chest, with a spear gun, while in the Looking Glass. Both of those incidents were more concrete (less ambiguous) than Jin being on or near the freighter when it blew up, and yet both turned out to be non-lethal injuries. So to re-re-word my original point: Unless the powers-that-be explicitly say "So-and-so is dead, he's not coming back" it's difficult to say with any uncertainty if they're really dead or not. And since they haven't said that Jin is dead (or not dead), I'm firmly in the "he's not dead" camp. Cuse said in an interview after the finale that Jin is dead.

They said the same thing about Jin, though, and many people here think he's still alive.

Jason LaBarbera has been a brick wall. I sent Cloutier to the AHL in hopes that some team would claim him off waivers, but no dice. I'm stuck with his $3 million plus contract for 3 more seasons. LaBarbera doesn't even make 7 figures and he's better. I had called up Jonathan Bernier when I demoted Cloutier, but I sent him back since the Monarchs needed a good goaltender. Other than that, no roster moves for me.

Dude, I'm using the Kings. They're even worse! But that's what this thread is for. I may not be able to say much in regards to anyone's posts since my hockey knowledge is extremely limited, but I will read every post. I'd love to keep reading about people's dynasties.

I only play 5 minute periods on Pro. I can squeeze 3 games into 1 hour of real time, but shit... That's a lot a games right there. I'm guessing you have had the game since September, but that's still impressive. I've played 32 dynasty games since I started mine 8 days ago, but only 2 Monarchs games. I kind of want to play more, but I'm afraid that if I fuck around too much with the AHL games, I'll never finish an NHL season.

How many of these games are you playing, max? I'll be playing all my Kings games, but to play all the NHL and AHL games would be insane.

What difficulty are you playing on? It wouldn't be fun to me if I was winning by 3-4 goals a game. Your playoffs sound great, though. I'm 30 games into my season. I have a 1 point lead for best record in the west (over Colorado and Columbus who are tied) with 42 points and a record of 20-8-0-2. Ottawa has the best record in the league. I have my occasional big games, but most are won/lost by 1 or 2 goals. You should add me, fazzle.

I just tried Mountain Dew Revolution. It's surprisingly good. Not on the level of Live Wire or game Fuel, but much better than Pitch Black and Code Red. I haven't tried either of the other 2 new flavors yet.
