Matt Sydal/Evan Bourne is my girlfriend's new favorite wrestler. Someone has finally come along to fill that gaping hole RVD left.

We did Amtrak from Tennessee to California a few years ago. It took four days and three trains. It was horrible. The bathroom was smaller than the average closet.

Actually, Val was DQ'd for knocking down the referee. They were arguing because Val took the chest protector off D'Lo and started to climbed the turnbuckles with it.

You know, I liked the main event, but I really didn't buy Batista's partners as being that much lower in the pecking order than Hawkins, Ryder, or even Chavo. From a kayfabe point of view, none of those guys should stand a chance against Edge on their best day, but would it really be shocking for any of those guys to pin, oh say... Hawkins in a singles match? No. I don't think so.

ICP fans give their baby a Jullago funeral.

Is it wrong to think it's good news that the baby died? Seriously, think about it. -
I enjoyed the show, but seeing Sarah Silverman on SmackDown was just awesome.

Wait... what do Shelton and D'Lo have in common outside of the whole black thing? Hey... remember when Marvin said Kofi Kingston shouldn't go to ECW because they already had Burke and Shelton? That was funny.

So, I'm going to... uh... Slammiversary? Is that the next PPV? It's a last minute decision. I haven't watched TNA in a year or so, and haven't even seen a single minute of Impact in a few months, anyone want to catch me up on what's going on? I looked up the card, and it looks like it could be pretty fun at least.

What's with all this Mello Yello talk? I had that yesterday at work. And I see it in 20 oz. bottles all the time around here.

I've been using this argument for years. Never necessarily saying "Animals do it, so can we!" but just to point out that it's not something exclusive to humans.

I didn't bother to read the article, but this is really, really, really old news.

Keep kicking that horse, dude. Someone will laugh eventually.

Sometime in '95. Great American Bash was most likely the show WCW was building to, so... WCW World: The Giant US: Konnan Cruiserweight: Dean Malenko Tag: Sting and Luger (?) WWF WWE: Shawn Michaels IC: Goldust Tag: Smoking Gunns I could be totally wrong, though.

I second Gorguts. Also, Necrophagist. -

That main event is almost WAR levels of awesome. -

My personal favorite Black Metal album. Ignore these and get Fetus's Destroy the Opposition and Nile's In Their Darknened Shrines. Of course both those albums Corey mentioned are good, but these are so much better. -
It's chocolate or something like that. I hope.

Wait... did I miss it or did Mark Henry's promo not air? Cole mentioned it during Show's entrance and it sounded like they were going to show it, maybe picture-in-picture style or something, but nothing came of it.

Morrison/Batista was really, really good. Batista is really good at that whole "top-tier face getting beat up by mid-tier heel" match formula. Also, Koslov is still entertaining me, but I'm positive that'll stop as soon as he starts wrestling competitive matches. Nothing else from the show really stands out. Punk/Hardy and Finlay/MVP were perfectly acceptable TV wrestling, though.

Ooh! I like that list, I can probably do that one off the top of my head. Top matches I've seen in person. 1. Finlay vs. Rey - Smackdown sometime just before WM22. 2. Cena vs. Angle - RAW houseshow in 9/05. Much better than any of their PPV matches for the WWE Title. 3. Regal vs. Benoit - Same SD as the Finlay/Rey match. Really short, and I was disappointed live, but really liked it after watching it on TV. 4. Show vs. Hogan - Memphis show last year. Even though I'm a big fan of Show, this would have been so much better with Lawler. Still, this was a pretty fun Hogan routine match. Seeing Hogan do his shtick live was worth the admission. 5. Orton vs. Jericho - RAW houseshow 12/26/07. Much better than their lackluster performance at Armageddon.

Wait... aren't those my games?
-
Man, I defend SmackDown left and right, but this sounds shitty. I'm really not sure what the point of stripping 'Taker of the title was if we're just going to get Taker/Edge again.
-
On the Coach as a worker bit, his match with Eguene and with Cade against Rhino and Tajiri were fun, too.
-
Wait, people talked about wrestling in NHB or whatever the hell this place was called then? Fuck. That sucks.

You know, I hate that so much. "If wrestler X is getting jobbed out or not pushed, why shouldn't he be expected to be lazy?" Just because management doesn't have plans for someone right away doesn't give them an excuse to half-ass it. Would this be accepted anywhere else?
