I'll give it a chance. Hopefully RVD will make some kind of cameo. After all, GR is his favorite superhero!

The Au Revoir

I didn't think Elektra was going to bomb THAT bad. Damn! >_<
-
They couldn't have just let Regal get a new partner or fucking force him to vacate the titles? Fucking bullshit.

They got rid of the love scene because they wanted to show how committed Matt is to his "night job", he never can get away, he always senses some crime and that it makes him much more of a tortured hero, which is a lot more true to character. Its funny that without the scene how much changes but I think her death actually means more now as he never really got the chance to be with her because his life won't allow it. Elektra was not supposed to die! The studio wanted this scene in to confirm that Elektra was alive, the diretor said that in the "unedited" version, after he finds the necklace, they show Elektra on the roof behind him spinning her sais, but the director took it out so it would be left open to interpretation - she could have either left the brail necklace before going kamakazee, then died - or lived and put it there after she survived. In the theatrical version, the view is much more centered on Matt and the necklace, you don't quite see what's behind him. It also left future plot options for the Daredevil and Elektra franchises. I always looked at it as she lived...but of course the director, comics and the Elektra movie said otherwise. : \

I liked the movie, but it hugely suffered from lack of explainations / unanswred questions, loopholes in the storyline which would especially affect people who aren't comic book fans: 1.) What was the Order of the Hand? 2.) Why are they evil? 3.) Why did they want Abby so bad? 4.) Why was she called "The Treasure"? 5.) Why did the Hand kill Elektra's mother? 6.) Why was Elektra being haunted throughout the film constantly through flashbacks by her father making her tread in a swimming pool? 7.) What did happen to her father? 8.) What made Elektra become an assassin? 9.) How did she wind up at her sensei's place? 10.) Why were they training her? 11.) Why is it when Hand members died, they turned into green smoke? The movie also didn't explain how It went from Elektra being killed by Bullseye to being in an ambulance to all of sudden cut to where she winded up bringing brought back to life [how which was also unexplained] by her sensei. Although Bob Sapp and the guy who played Shang Tsung being the movie gives this movie some cool points. And of course, we have to wait for the Director's Cut on DVD for the answers and that's if they are given. There's not one single mention of DareDevil in the movie either. : \

It'd be nice to see Stevie make it to the Rumble for once.

The 3 Presences are still after Sarah and were probably about to somehow kill her in the cemetary since she is the last one who "knows" about the EVP stuff and the truth. Its kinda like the Ring, whoever gets involved winds up getting killed by the evil spirit(s). Yes. He was helping them do their dirty work. I think to either A.) Save his own skin from being killed by the Presences (for meddling initially with the EVP) by killing people for them. or B.) Johnathan is trying to help people and ignoring the bad messages, but what about the people (The Work Man) who listen to the bad messages? With good always comes a little bit of evil as well. Either way, he was a serial killer inspired by their subtle influence and became their tool to perform the physical chain of events leading to their needs. He did. She dropped him off at his mom's place before The Work Man somehow got to her. Yes. Jonathan starts to piece together that Anna is contacting him and showing him things about all these people before they actually die, thus giving him an opportunity to save them. I kind of missed that part because I was also distracted by her creepiness, but what I got is that she was referring that the Presences were also talking to him and not just his wife. The 3 Presences were extremely vicious and sadistic people when they were alive. When they died, they remained in an area that would provide them with prime fresh candidates (to torture, manipulate, control, and basically amuse themselves with) of those who ‘cross over’. Living so in an In-Between state, they have the freedom to continue their savage and abusive acts freely – their victims almost like trapped prisoners while having a human puppet to help out. Unless I missed it, they never explained the deal with 2:30, but I believe its the exact moment when Anna had died (2:30 AM) anyway because she either always got into contact with Johnathan or something would always happen around that time. The Presences were trying to kill Sarah like they did wind up doing at the end of the movie with Johnathan. It was much easier for them with Sarah because she was drugged and he was not plus he also had a strong mind. The Presences are still around. I'm pretty sure she was a goner right then and there or she will be soon. Johnathan is trying to get in contact with his ex-wife and his son. The lesson learned was being stuck in your grieving feelings is self destructive. The end result might be that you will get cut off from the loved ones that are still living (Example: Jonathan not taking care of his son anymore) He says "I'm sorry, Mikey" through the radio. I'm really hoping that when the DVD comes out, there will be deleted scenes or the commentary that will help explain the movie a lot better because I do feel everything was rushed.

Drinking listerine in your car isn't a good idea
Lil' Bitch replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in General Chat
You can't be drunk if you spit the stuff out. Oh man, there goes my idea though of a quick fix if I forgot to brush my teeth before a date. -
It didn't suck, but it wasn't great. It was okay, not worth $8 though.

If it was up to me that, I would have booked: 1. Yokozuna pinned Savio Vega. 2. Bob Holly pinned the Roadie. 3. Shawn Michaels pinned Kama. 4. Mabel pinned The Undertaker. 5. Yokozuna pinned Bob Holly. 6. Shawn Michaels defeated Mabel via DQ (Mo interfering). 7. Shawn Michaels pinned Yokozuna to win the King of the Ring Tournament.

If wildpegasus (or anybody for that matter), can give me the win / loss televised record of the Benoit / Jericho fued over the years, I'd appreciate it.

5 / 10 Not the best Marvel has come with, but I liked it. I even thought it was better than DareDevil (due to Elktra having more action) although keep in mind I have yet to check out the Director's Cut.

I'd like to see Edge win for RAW even though I'm just putting faith into a lost cause.

It really depends on the title match. I hope it will be at least decent overall. For crying out loud, of all the PPVs we could have gotten for this year, they're giving us the Bash. I don't know whether to be happy or sad.
-
I disagree, Benoit / Kane told a great in-ring story that made it one of my favorite title matches from last year.
