I know this movie is old and I haven't read the comics much back then, but something I always wondered. 1.) Was the story originally made just for the movie or did they base it off a story from the comics? 2.) So, did the events that took place in the movie, is it considered an official part of the HUGE Batman saga or just a what-if story? 3.) I know the movie doesn't explain it, but what became of the Joker after the ending? (If it was explained elsewhere or just any good ass guesses? Thanks in advance.

RVD, he was insanely over in 2002 with the push he was getting and I was absolutely sure he was finally going to win his first world title at Unforgiven. HHH even convinced me more by costing RVD the IC title on the last RAW (I think) before the PPV. And then nope, RVD's greatness died that night. What made it worse was that before going into the match, HHH talked smack to RVD and even INSULTED Flair in that segment and Flair helps HHH win the match? I'm sorry that swerve was super lame.
