  1. Except he was winning matches long before his father was even considered to be an HOF inductee.
  2. Love It or Hate It - The Game / 50 Cent
  3. The WWE Championship match and the RAW Vs. SD matches should be good, but that's about it. Really not worth the $35, the rest of the card is fucking terrible and worthy of a 2nd rate PPV card line-up for either brand.
  4. Sounds like a decent main event to me, I'll check it out. Now whether or not the World Heavyweight Title will be on the line, that's another thing we'll just have to wait and see.
  5. Yeah, it was on 7/31/2000 for the title, I believe.
  6. Did Bret Hart ever wrestle Rick Rude? Bret Hart's final match was against Kevin Nash in WCW, but weren't they in the nWo together? What was up with that? What started these feuds: Roberts / Honky Tonk Man (What was the blow-off?) Savage / Rhodes I'm guessing either because they made the IC and WWF Championship matches so long (combined, they almost took up an hour!) or probably Shawn wasn't physically fit enough to endure an entire hour since he was the first guy. Or both.
  7. $22-23 at my Super Wal-Mart although I'm not really worried about the match against Austin being fucked up since I plan on picking up the WM Anthology anyways.
  8. Sting Vs. Luger - Superbrawl II Sting Vs. Rude - Stampede 94 Sting Vs. Kensuke Sasaki - Starrcade 95 Sting Vs. Meng - GAB 95 Sting Vs. Regal - GAB 96 Sting Vs. Savage - Stampede 98 Sting Vs. Page - Nitro, March 98 Sting Vs. Hart - Havoc 98 or Mayhem 99 (whichever was the better match) Sting Vs. Benoit - Nitro, September 99
  9. Except Bret doesn't want anything to do with either of those schmucks, ever. HBK's new book doesn't help either. I'm guessing because WWE wanted to release Bret's DVD without further delay even after the incredible time crunch the production crew had to endure from completely changing the negative DVD into a positive one while adding in 10 more matches than the original amount.
  10. And Orton.
  11. Nobody likes Kurt as a goofball.
  12. Sounds totally awesome although did they have to be gay about adding Daivari to the Championship match at SSeries? That's my only complaint.
  13. A friend told me the commentary for the match against Ted Dibiase was removed because Tony Schiavone & Al Hayes didn't talk about the match as much as hyped up Wrestlemania.
  14. In no way, shape, or form did JBL ever become a credible champion. He was always potrayed as chickenshit and, as far as I know, never won a match clean because he always had get to help from somebody ALL THE TIME. At least Orton can hold his own ground and put on a good match when paired with the right person, JBL can't.
  15. YES!
  16. Don't mix up Orton with JBL.
  17. I liked Bret with the pink tanktop / black pants combo the best.
  18. Wow, that's gay. And when I say that, I mean as in really fucking homo.
  19. Just FYI, this is a listing for the Roberts CHV if you wanna compare it to the DVD. Of course, thanks to Cawthon for the info. Jake "The Snake" Roberts #040 - Jake Roberts pinned Scott McGee with the DDT at 4:07 after Roberts held onto the ropes to avoid a roll up (4/22/86; Madison Square Garden) - Jake Roberts fought Ricky Steamboat to a no contest when Roberts attacked Steamboat before the bell and executed the DDT on the concrete floor; after the bout, Steamboat was taken from ringside on a stretcher while his wife looked on from ringside (Saturday Night's Main Event - 5/1/86; Providence, RI) - Ricky Steamboat pinned Jake Roberts at 17:21 with a roll up as Roberts attempted to revive the referee; after the bout, Roberts attacked Steamboat, hit the DDT, and draped Damien on his opponent until Ted Arcidi and Dick Slater made the save (8/9/86; Boston Garden) - The Junkyard Dog defeated Jake Roberts via count-out at 9:14 when Roberts untied the snake bag and took Damien out during a ringside brawl, allowing JYD to reenter the ring prior to the referee's 10-count (12/9/86; Phoenix, AZ; Veterans Memorial Coliseum) - Jake Roberts defeated King Kong Bundy via count-out at 9:17 when Bundy pushed Roberts back inside the ring following a ringside brawl; after the bout, Bundy missed the Avalanche in the corner with Roberts then chasing Bundy, Heenan, and Jimmy Hart - who did guest commentary for the bout - backstage with Damien (2/23/87; Madison Square Garden) - King Kong Bundy (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeated Jake Roberts via disqualification at 6:14 after Roberts kneed the referee when the ref attempted to prevent Roberts from grabbing the bag that contained Damien; after the bout, Heenan - who had been chased from ringside earlier - returned to help Bundy out of the ring after recieving the DDT (Saturday Night's Main Event - 2/21/87; Detroit, MI; Joe Louis Arena) - The Honkytonk Man (w/ Jimmy Hart) pinned Jake Roberts (w/ Alice Cooper) at 7:04 with a roll up and holding onto the ropes for leverage after Hart prevented Roberts' attempt at the DDT by grabbing his leg; after the match, Honky briefly left ringside after Roberts almost smashed the guitar over his head, breaking it against the ringpost; moments later, Roberts grabbed Hart, allowing Alice to torture Hart with Damien the snake until Hart ran backstage with Honky (WrestleMania III - 3/29/87; Pontiac Silverdome) - Kamala (w/ Kimchee) pinned Jake Roberts at 4:18 with a splash after Kimchee interfered behind the referee's back and hit a clothesline to the back of Roberts; after the match, Kimchee unmasked, revealing himself to be the Honkytonk Man (Saturday Night's Main Event - 4/28/87; South Bend, IN; Joyce Athletic & Convocation Center)

  21. Given my size, a world title reign would be out of the question, however to make up for it, I'd like to have these accomplishments: - Win the IC, Tag Team, and CW titles - Having the TV Title being brought back so I can win it and have the record for longest reign - Being the 2nd to last guy in a Royal Rumble - Be on a televised show when they came back to my hometown and win the main event - Be involved in a recycled version of Hart / Austin from WM 13 at a future WM except after a long struggle, I tap out in the end.
  22. Well, hopefully Orton won't have another abortion of a title run like last time.
  23. Most long term main eventers are marks for themselves, especially coming from WWF/E. You almost have to be in order to maintain your spot. It's a dog eat dog environment and the only person who is going to look after you is you. If you aren't to some degree full of yourself, than you probrably didn't have a long reign on top. Let's take a look at some past WWF/E champs. Yeah, just look at Bret's WCW run. He was fairly selfless and was stuck as a mid-carder for almost 2 years. Then again, with Hogan not being around, i think its safe to say that was a huge factor in Bret finally becoming the WCW Champion.
  24. That was one of the best parts of the movie.
