  1. 116 hours? Holy shit, man.
  2. I just started having the same problem
  3. Marvin, as someone who has defended you a lot, and believes you should be able to post here without restriction, you really are stupid. As Nighwing said, the last thing Americans would want to hear talk about how much they're struggling is a guy worth as much as he is.
  4. There would be a lot of Romney said this, and now says this
  5. But Romney's such an unlikeable douchebag, that the raise would probably be over pre-bailout stuff anyway.
  6. Mitt Romney's awful. While he would fare better given the recession/bailout, he's such an unlikeable douchebag that he would have no chance. Plus, all his flip-flopping would come back to haunt him
  7. David Gergen: I think it's too early to declare victory...because Barack Obama is black Awesome.
  8. I don't know, I really liked that. I thought it was funny, and McCain needs to distance himself from Bush.
  9. What was the "that one" comment anyway? I'm blanking on that one. That's a bit harsh I think. Democrats always win on the economy, and that's the biggest issue. McCain's fucked. Sorry Marv.
  10. In Mike's defence, if there ever was a year to talk-up his Redskins, this is it. I don't mind homermism, their your favourite team, of course you're going to talk them up. This week is must-win for the Saints. They can't go 1-2 on this homestand and be 2-4 going against Carolina. And of course, we get another injury on defence. Godspeed Tracy Porter!
  11. I also hate CNN's debate metre- it's distracting, and hard to decipher. And the spin alley stuff is pointless.
  12. I disagree. I really like CNN's political team, as you get a bunch of varying viewpoints from both sides of the aisle analysing the debate. They're not telling you what to think at all. I think I wanted to mention more about analysts in general, but I tend to agree with you here. For the most part, CNN's not bad, but this analysis is nauseating. Definitely from the Ohio voters. Who did you think won, bob? I agree with you there- Soledad O'Brien talking to random Ohioans is just a waste of time, and I don't see the point of it. But I do like their analysis, it's interesting hearing what Republican analysts and Democrat analysts have to say- since they don't just spin it to their own beliefs. It seems honest. I always watch all of CNN's post-debate stuff- I like David Gergen a lot. And Campbell Brown is cute too. I felt McCain won this slightly, he really knows how to work a town hall format and I enjoyed hearing what he has to say. I agree that at times he didn't offer concrete solutons at times, but I felt it came off well. Obama whining about follow-ups just made him look sad.
  13. Soledad O'Brien is really hot, I wish they wouldn't stick her in these lifeless Ohio segments. McCain's fine quip was ownage.
  14. I disagree. I really like CNN's political team, as you get a bunch of varying viewpoints from both sides of the aisle analysing the debate. They're not telling you what to think at all.
  15. How does Barack answering a question cause something to become loose? L-o-s-e= lose L-o-o-s-e= loose Seriously people.
  16. It was Bischoff's way of differeniating RAW from Smackdown, and it was how WCW used to have it set up.
  17. That's idiotic. The Chocolate Socket is supposed to be an anything goes, uncensored, no rules folder. Having it be "someone's folder" defeats that whole purpose.
  18. 95% of the threads in TCS are rampant stupidity. Kind of the point of the folder. If someone doesn't like a thread, the simplest way to react is to not click on it. One of the things I always used to hate about TSM was how the NHB folder was moderated. You couldn't do this and that (no racist stuff, come on) and threads would be closed. Which to me defeats the purpose of a NHB type folder. Since I couldn't respond in the thread itself- You wave that e-dick around! I guess that's a no?
  19. As TSM Ombudsman, I'd like to point out that the Chocolate Socket is supposed to be an uncensored folder where anything goes, and closing threads should not be occuring. That's nice that Agent doesn't want to read a thread about Noah Fentz, but instead of closing it, he should just ignore it and the thread will go away. Locking threads defeats the whole purpose of an anything goes folder.
  20. In case anyone had anything else they wanted to add, since threads aren't supposed to be closed in The Chocolate Socket. What's everyone favourite pinball game?
  21. Sports folder: almost completely barron of intelligent posters Makes me laugh everytime
  22. I watched it too. Solid episode.
  23. Are the episodes available at cbs.com? I missed it b/c of the Saints game, and couldn't DVR it b/c of Sara Connor Chronicles
  24. Be happy you went to New Orleans and won. It just pisses me off, because in the NFC South, you really can't afford this stuff
  25. Well that sucks, but Saints didn't really deserve to win this one with all the miscues and having Martin Gramatica as a field goal kicker. All these losses this year have been so frustrating.
