It wasn't close to the source material AT ALL. Depp's portrayal of Willy Wonka was horrible and not in line with the character in the book. That and the book never had a horrible storyline where Wonka had daddy issues to explain his eccentricity.

That makes no sense. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was fucking awful, shit all over the book. If Dahl didn't like Willy Wonka, I doubt he would've liked the remake

I just heard them hyping up the Battle of the Billionaires on the Today Show. That's insane. I remember last year when everyone acted like the WM22 card was the worst thing to ever hit wrestling- and it ended up being a pretty good show

But that's part of Cena's character- if you boo him, no skin off his back. He's not like The Rock who needed the cheers of the crowd. And Toronto only booed Cena b/c he was facing Edge. And I don't remember Cena getting booed in MSG either.

I've heard that NBC is really high on it, which helps. But the fact that the show keeps tanking in the ratings worries me.

Because he's insanely over with kids and drives house shows and merch. That might not happen if he's a heel.
