  1. It'd be more like Bum Fights VI since this isn't our first fight on the message board before
  2. It'll be one sided because Bob is probably PM'ing a mod saying a threatened him with physical violence. Thats how much of a sap he is. As usual Banky is criticising me while not knowing what he is talking about. ::yawns::
  3. I'd like to think I'm somewhat qualified when it comes to my knowledge of Ring of Honor. I give the backstories so the reader will know who they are and it could make them want to pick up that and other ROH tapes
  4. Yea- It's a shame that a lot of the Smackdown! 6 matches have been forgotten. The 4-way is an extra on the Armageddon DVD- definetley worth checking out
  5. Edge and Angle had four matches in the spring: A short match on Smackdown! The two PPV matches and the cage match blowoff Many people, myself included, prefer the Backlash match to the rest. The Judgement Day match seems to see both of them not know what to do for the first half before panicing and just going into NEAR FALL POP! mode. Backlash sees them start slow and just keep building to bigger spots. I think the Backlash match also did a better job of putting over both men. Edge was made to look like a million bucks and Angle (except for one spot) was booked to look strong. Judgement Day had a cop-out finish that didn't make Edge or Angle look great at all. The fact that they relied on near falls to sell the match also bothered me a bit.
  6. I thought the no-DQ match was a wee bit overrated even though the spots are insane. Edge v. Guerrero from Unforgiven sees Edge fixing the error of the Summerslam match (no-selling the shoulder) and actually selling his injured head the entire match. Eddy plays rudo dickhead heel as only he can and the finish is brilliant.
  7. I was one of the first to point out the comments that Ray was making- there was no bandwagon jumping there. Yes- My ROH reviews are my desperate attention for acceptance. Why do you think I gave such thorough backstory to London v. AJ? I could say the same to you Banky.
  8. I also enjoyed that match as well Jay. Edge also had a great 25 minute TV match with Angle and a fun match on Halloween v. Benoit
  9. Edge has had more then those two good matches. Don't forget Unforgiven v. Eddy- One of the top three WWE matches of 2002 IMO
  10. Oh wow- Are we going to have Banky v. me Part 900? That's always fun
  11. I think it's sad that you can't get your point across without resorting to an emoticon- You're like DJ Jeff. I hate Shawn Michaels and he's been in many matches that I've enjoyed.
  12. Banky- I don't think you've read Ray's posts. You've just read mine.
  13. Actually Marney- Zsasz bumped a few other classic Mole threads. The ebay auction one in Gen chat and the DVD cases one in Movie/TV
  14. Can Ray make one post without using an emoticon? bps- You know Ray is making asinine arguments when I DEFEND TNA to counter him
  15. Not to take away from your proud accomplishment but making Ray cry is really not that hard. Just say: (Wrestler X) carried (Wrestler Y)
  16. Ahhh- The best defence of any good racist.
  17. Is it because of the high flying nature of the matches? Then DUH- it's the ULTIMATE X show. Did you read the preview or spoilers before the show? This show sounds like it was an amazing exhibition cruiserweight action featuring lots of fun wrestling. The show was designed to be a show mostly of cool spots and can you top this spots- If you read the preview or spoilers- You would've figured this out and could've avoided wasting $10
  18. I'm sick and tired of Ray's little bitch act.
  19. Ray- What were you expecting when you bought this show? You could've read the spoilers or even the match listings and could've figured out this wasn't going to be a technical wreslting fest
  20. Denying any anti-American sentiment on his part, actor Johnny Depp (news) said on Thursday that quotes attributed to him as likening the United States to a "dumb puppy" were inaccurate and taken out of context. "I am an American. I love my country and have great hopes for it," Depp said in a statement released by his Los Angeles-based publicist. "It is for this reason that I speak candidly and sometimes critically about it. I have benefited greatly from the freedom that exists in my country and for this I am eternally grateful." Depp, currently starring in the swashbuckling film "Pirates of the Caribbean," issued the statement a day after the German news magazine Stern published an interview in which he ridiculed Washington's confrontation with France, where he lives, over the U.S. war in Iraq (news - web sites). The magazine quoted the actor as saying "America is ... like a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, aggressive." He was further quoted as saying he wanted his children to "see America as ... a broken toy" that they should explore, get the feel of, then "get out." Explaining his comments a day later, Depp he had been using a metaphor that was taken "radically out of context," adding, "There was no anti-American sentiment." "What I was saying was that, compared to Europe, America is a very young country and we are still growing as a nation," he said. "My deepest apologies to those who were offended, affected, or hurt by this insanely twisted deformation of my words and intent." His spokeswoman added that the Kentucky-born Depp, 40, lives in the south of France with his family because his wife, actress-singer Vanessa Paradis (news), is French.
  21. Am I the only one who finds it amusing that Downhome complains about censorship yet posts 'f'n' instead of fucking?
  22. Well if anyone had the nutsack to follow up on their beliefs, they would boycott ALL Depp movies. Because it would be rather hyocritical to support his movies after blasting him for making a living off of a country he despises. I haven't done that though. I disagree with him of course but that doesn't mean I won't see a movie he's in because I don't like his political views. I mean I buy all of Al Franken's books when I hate the guy
  23. I'll still see Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Johnny Depp's comments on the US don't have an effect on whether I see his film or not. So he dissed America- big whoop. I've gotten over it.
  24. Keith's blind markdom for TNA really creeps me out- I think he digs the old school feel of the promotion.
  25. Meltzer's recaps are hilairous- some weeks he'll just rip the whole show apart- I recommend everyone read him. And Dames too of course.
