How many titles has Hot Rod held?
-
I'm so picking that up.

Airplane! moment here.

I'll never cease to be impressed by the production guys.

As for KAtie's hair, on the podcast Ron said she had wanted long hair, and fought to keep it. The compromise was that she could cut it off herself on screen.

My modem does something similar when I use BitLord. It will work for a few hours, then the conenction will just fizzle out and I have to unplug the modem for a few minutes. IT may be annoying, but try doing the same thing and see if it works.

Okay, I got Intervideo off of Bearshare, and I hear the audio, but I get no video. What's causing all this?

I took off Nero. It says I need a DVD Decoder. Any idea where I can find some?

So today I bought a Pioneer DVD/CD writer that came bundled witha 30 day trial of Nero 7 Essentials. I spent most of my day buring files to DVD's to get them off of my hard drive, but when I put ina regular DVD to FINALLY view DVD rom stuff I haven't been able to see for years, all of a suden it won't read it and says my trial of Nero is over. IS there somethign else I can install that's free so I can view this stuff?

Oh ya. I have that too. Isn't that the one where they interview him out in the country or something? I have that one also, it's pretty interesting. Unless I'm imagining things, it also talks about him in WCW, with clips as well. It's a fine DVD to go right along with Tombstone. Yeah. it's got his early carrer highlights in WCW with Paul Heyman. It's pretty cool.

He appeared with her in some DVD bonus materials. Richard Hatch was alos very critical of the new BSG early on, and we saw how that turned out. (Hatch has been fantastic as Zarek, in case that hasn't already been said.) Yeah, that was for the miniseries. He apparently said these things recently, probably during season 2. Probably pissed that the remake did so much better than the original.

Never mind. Apparently you have to fudge a Episode ID to download it to your iPod

You two had NO problems with ME? Man, it would crash on me every month it seemed. I freakin' HATED that OS. At this point, I think Opera is the way to go for me. Along with history manager and tabs, it's got its own built-in BitTorrent, and I'm liking the interface the more I use it.

I don't think the Hybrid counts. And yes, Dirk Bennedict would be awesome as one of the final five. However, he recently got some heat by lambasting Katie Sackoff and saying something like a woman Starbuck is a horrible idea. I'm actually starting to wonder if Starbuck herself is one of those models. Remember, Six made some comments in Season 1 or 2 about her having a destiny or something.

Along with the shows I buy om iTunes, I download a lot of shows as well. Recently I started downloading Buffy Season 7, then tried putting them on my iPod. Despite setting them as a TV show, it doesn't come up on my list of TV shows to synch. At the same time, all of the movies I've downloaded show up no problem, and all of the BSG episodes I've downloaded show up as well. Any suggestions?

Ouch. Sadly, they have a point. I'm constantly comparing it to West Wing when I watch it. I mean, the first episode was great, but I've been rapidly loosing interest since then.

After tonight, I have to wonder- will they find Earth?

Anybody else here remember the NEW Price is Right that was on a few years ago? Different host, different sets, different games, and didn't even last a season. The show just doesn't work without Bob.

Well, Firefox 2.0 still won't download anything without crashing, and IE 7 for some reason won't give me tabbed browsing, and I'm hesitant to uninstall it and download from the link above because of what I went through the first time. What's Opera like? Two things I like are tabbed browsing and session saver; does Opera have those?

I can't access system restore. I can't access Windows at all. And theonly reason I wanted IE7 was because I was sick of Firefox, and it seemed like it had everything I wanted.

Well, I downloaded a copy of IE 7 with BitLord, and installed it- And now, I get this error: Explorer exe Unable to locate component. Application failed to start because Normaliz.dll was nto found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Of course, Windows wont fully start. I got no start bar, no programs. I only managed to get Firefox up and running by using the task manager. And I can't reinstall Windoes XP because I no longer have the ID key for my official copy, and my unoffical copy is several years old now. Anybody got any suggestions?

I learned ona MAc, and used a Mac from Grade school untill I graduated High School. The only reason I got a PC was because I was going to college, and they use mostly Windows computers. Each one has it's pluses and minuses (more games on the PC, better editing and design capabilities on the Mac), but now a days you can buy a Mac that will also run Windows, so the argument is a bit moot.
-
alas, my copy of XP isn't authentic, so I can't get teh new IE. I foudn that out tonight when I tried to download it. Anybody also have problems when they try to download and it fgreezes up on you (for Firefox)?

This was too good not to post: from Buffy.nu From Slashdot.org - By CowboyNeal - 2006-10-28 Firefly Fans Fight Back Against Universal Firefly Gossi writes : "What happens when a film studio and a fanbase get into bed? Fans of Joss Whedon’s Firefly, and the movie by Universal Studios - Serenity - are not amused. After being encouraged to viral market Serenity, the studio has started legal action against fans (demanding $9000 in retroactive licensing fees in one case and demanding fan promotion stop), and going after Cafepress. The fans response? Retroactively invoice Universal for their services."

So, I used to love Firefox. But over the last few months, numerous problems started popping up. First I can't select and copy text, either on a web page or in the address bar. Then it won't fully load pages for me. And now it won't even show this board anymore- it shows an oddly formated version with very few graphics, but in IE I get a normal looking board. The only things I like about Firefox is the tabbed browsing, the skins, and the extensions. ARe there any other web browsers out there that include all of those things without all of the problems?
