I stopped reading the Star Trek books a while ago, but I did have most of the New Fronteir series. All of the books were excellent, and I would highly recomend them.

I had no real problem with this movie. Maybe it because I never cared about Hulk and I never read the books, but to me it seemed like a perfectly acceptable comic book movie. But I will agree with the above quote- the actors did seem bored, and the chemistry waas non-existant; especially between the leads.

I'm in the middle of it right now, and I think it's fine. That being said, I'm not looking forward to Star By Star, since they kill off Anakin, who've they built up for the entire series to that point.

I'm reading botht he Thrawn trilogy and the New Jedi Order series right now, and would recomend both. I plan on going backwards through the series, though I may go ahead and pick up the Han Solo trilogy since everybody is recomending it. I'd recomend picking up 'Betrayal', the first book int he new Legacy of the Force series. It was written by Allston, and both Wedge and Tycho have semi-prominant roles in it.

Not a directors cut, but there's a new Collector's Edition of Princess Bride being released next Tuesday, with new packaging and a new documentary. Just a heads up.
