I agree that Stewie and Brian are by far the best actual characters, but so many of their lines are grating that I find myself hating them.
-
It's all that damn Benoit's fault. We need more HHH.
-
I like Family Guy, but I also find it hideously overrated. I spend most of my time watching the show wanting to axe murder Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, and Brian. Most of the shows humor is just "out of nowhere" stuff, which when you have seen the episode before just isn't effective. I like Family Guy, I do, but it has tremendous faults.

Snyder knew the Mayor knew of and was somewhat involved in the evil activity in Sunnydale, but I don't think he knew anything about what the Mayor was really up to.

Benoit has a different style than a way out there Rock or Austin. His intensity is his charisma, and that comes across very well when he is given the chance to show it. -

When has he been given the chance to be the man on Raw? Even as champ, it is still the HHH show. The champ should be the focal point, he should be given a chance, but instead we get shit like HHH only losing to...what's his name? that Canadian guy?...because a retard ran in. -

He fought off Evolution, only to be beaten down by them...AGAIN. Who cares if he made HHH submit? HHH beat him by count out and a spinebuster as well, does that mean Benoit was automatically buried? Does HHH tapping out mean he automatically put Benoit over? No to both. But needing a retard to run in, beat up the number one stable that he hasn't been able to beat on his own (he needed Eugene at Vengeance too), and then roll over at the last second to barely beat HHH. I'm positive that next week we will hear from HHH about how he deserved the win and Eugene screwed him out of it, and that Benoit (if he is even mentioned) only won because of Eugene. The match was directionless shit with no point and completely random segments (the several times they went ringside for no reason other than to go and fight at ringside), with neither man bringing an especially varied offense than their usual for an extra long match. HHH spent most of his time on offense punching. Benoit did the leg work, with the indian deathlock and figure four, but in the long run it was pointless and was completely forgotten by the end. The ending was the usual ref bump run in madness every match has, and then we got the retard beating up Evolution singlehandedly to give Benoit the win. I've been saying this for a while: a win isn't a big deal unless it is presented as such. Benoit made HHH tap at WrestleMania. So? HHH remained the number one player on Raw, and got himself a rematch. Benoit beat HBK and HHH at Backlash. So? HHH remained the number one player on Raw, and HBK got a rematch. Benoit beat HBK in the rematch. So? HHH interfered and still remained the number one player on Raw, and Benoit wrestled Kane in a pointless match that was second on the card to HHH/HBK. Benoit beat Kane. So? HHH remained the number one player on Raw, and got himself another rematch. Benoit beat HHH there. So? He needed Eugene to beat up HHH to do it, and HHH remained the number one player on Raw and got himself another rematch. Benoit beat HHH in the iron man. So? Eugene again had to save Benoit and give him the win, and HHH will remain the number one player on Raw. Nothing has changed except now, HHH's title is invisible. ** at most for the match, by the way. -

Benoit gets two wins over HHH and people still are bitching. Can't say I'm surprised. Shut up. He got murdered by Evolution for minutes until a retard showed up, kicked all their asses, and knocked HHH out so Benoit could win. It's not like Benoit got put over clean or anything. It's not like he was treated like a big deal. But no, he won. OMG SMARKS SUCK. -

We're getting Raw from the start here in Canada now. Diva search sucks. Most of them aren't even that hot. -

Fuck tennis. Fuck TSN. Fuck. -
No way in hell is that a correct statement. Norman Osborn alone is about 10 million times deeper than each of them. He is Peter's evil twin, in a way. They both got power, but Peter knew how to deal with it whereas Osborn didn't. Both suffered horrible tragedy (Peter being an orphan, death of Uncle Ben, being a huge outcast - Osborn being abused as a child, his wife dying, his son being an addict) and Osborn couldn't deal with it and he made the wrong choice while Peter made the right one. They both know each others secret identities but both know they can't reveal the truth. Osborn hates Peter because Osborn knows Peter is so close to being the same as him but is just far enough away not to be - Peter won't kill no matter what Osborn shoves at him, while Osborn just does what he wants. That is deep. Joker and Two-Face are fine, but neither one holds a candle to Norman Osborn, or even Harry Osborn or Roderick Kingsley.

Agreed. Also agree that this needs to have a whole fucking lot of revenge in it.
-
I've been watching, but this is one of the most uninteresting shows I have seen in years. Unlike 2003 Raw where how dumb they were made you glued to the TV, I've found myself barely able to keep my eyes to this show. Kidman and Bubba Ray are having a horribly disjointed match.
-
100% cor-fucking-rect. Despite the awesomeness of the overall story, I haven't been able to read it a second time due to how stupid the drawing is - this "manga-Spidey look" really pisses me off.
-
What are you on? Dragon and Joe have been feuding since the Musical back in April. Dragon/Joe aren't even feuding in ROH, they just did two matches in early 2003.
-
I hate that midget so fucking much.
-
Marvel also made WWE change Rhino to Rhyno because Rhino is a Spider-Man villain.
-
He's 0 for 3 and looks nothing like the chump, really. Whether or not he wins/loses doesn't matter, Raw is and always will be the HHH show. He could lose to random jobbers every match for the next year, yet he would still be the most seen man on the show in addition to tons of long promos and being treated as the star even if he is on a losing streak.

For those interested in seeing I, Robot, I suggest you do. I wasn't really interested but I checked it out tonight and really enjoyed it. There was a solid build throughout the movie and had some really neat fight scenes in addition to some funny jokes (Hold my pie). Not a classic by any means, but if you have to choose between it and some of the shit we've had out lately, choose I Robot. Solid -> good stuff.

I didn't particularily like the new Goblin costume, but I can understand changing it. If I can find it, I'll scan some of the other possibilities for Goblin suits that were considered (pics were in a Wizard magazine released back then, I'll look for it). A couple of them were a lot better. My problem with it is that the fights boil down to Peter vs Norman, and with the Power Ranger robot suit that didn't come across as well as I think it could have.
-
He did HUSTLE-3 vs Kawada, so 5 matches there.
-
No, I said they are still stuck deep in quantity over quality (which they are - why the hell does Spidey need to be involved in Avengers Disassembled? Why does Mary Jane need a book anyways?) and that they still have a long way to go before they can atone for there shit in the 90's. Looking at my post, I can see how you got that, but I didn't say that. On the second point, I was dissing Marvel's 90's shittiness, not comics in general. And the 90's for Marvel did, on the whole, suck ass.
