Champagne* Just out of interest, it was called 'Let Forever Be'. 'Setting Sun' was just a crazy dance song.

I think this sums up EVERYTHING that MX was saying.

Oh, and if he likes Slayer, he's ALL MAN~! Get over yourselves. Linkin Park are a pretty good band, once you look beyond the fact that they are a pop band.

I voted 'If you don't like it, change the channel' because it's SO damn true.

I enjoyed the Orton match because he actually seemed to have a HELL of a lot of character that I ain't seen in him before now.
-
I think the angle on RAW would have MORE than done the trick on it's own.

Okay. I'll start with a feud that has made me watch the WWE with great interest. Randy Orton v Mick Foley. I have seen a lot of hate for Randy Orton coming from the IWC. It's pretty bad really. All you EVER see is 'he's not over'. Wanna know WHY he's not over ? Because all of his feuds have been awful. This is the only one so far to REALLY capture my interest, and should finally do the trick. So far the feud has been done really well and I'm now GLAD they went with the Mick Foley being a coward storyline, but a couple of things didn't make sense in the Royal Rumble part of the feud. 1) Why did Mick Foley take out Test ? Why not someone else ? Why didn't he just ask for a place in the match itself because I'm SURE Austin would have given him it. 2) Why did Mick Foley put the Mr. Socko on Nunzio ? The brawl between Orton and Foley after the elimination was class, and the fans were TOTALLY into it, and seem to be FINALLY buying into the character of Orton. It looks like Foley v Orton will be SOME kind of gimmick match when it finally happens. RAW hinted towards this as well. The weird thing about the RAW incident was Foley making himself bleed. It seems that they MAY be making it look like Foley has gone over the egde with Randy Orton. No matter what happens from this point though, it looks like we are gonna have a good old fashioned blood fued. This of course brings me to their RAW segment. Now, obviously I haven't seen it, but the thing looks bloody awesome. The insane Foley seems as if he's a wonder to behold. Orton was supposed to have been TERRIFIED at this. What THIS does, is it takes the cockiness away from the character of Orton, and he finally looks as if he MAY have found his match. So, when Orton goes over Foley clean, the fans will REALLY buy into it and Orton will be made into a star. I have faith in WWE when it comes to this fued because they have booked it REALLY well so far. We then move onto the hot topic .... Chris Benoit. Royal Rumble Winner 2004. He goes onto Wrestlemania to take on the RAW Champion whomever that may be. Chris Benoit said he doesn't care WHICH of the two men he has to face. I'm hoping this leads to a Shawn Michaels v Triple H match with HBK winning the title. Not because I wanna see HHH lose the belt ( I'll explain that later ) but because Shawn Michaels v Chris Benoit would be an amazing match. It would CERTAINLY be the main event. There is a problem here though. Chris Benoit seemed like he REALLY wanted to win the WWE Title, so why has he suddenly decided he wants the World Title. It's stupid and dumb, but if it leads to a good match, then I'm happy. Triple H now. Quite possibly getting even WORSE. The thing is, the Shawn Michaels fued has TOTALLY sold me on Triple H. The fans quite clearly hate the guy. He's an awesome heel. So now, I seem to be liking the fact that he's the World Champion. Now, it seems he is gonna lose his title rather soon, whether it be to Chris Benoit or Shawn Michaels. If he DOES keep the belt though, I really won't mind. Triple H IS the #1 heel on RAW. I'm beginning to realise that now. The fans hate him with a passion ( notice how I never said 'smarks' there ) and this is the same reason I don't mind Goldberg. It's about the fans, so if someone is over with the fans, why shouldn't they be #1 ? Now, WWE is all about sports entertainment ( when I wanna see WRESTLING, I'll watch my ROH tapes ) so I am enjoying the Chris Jericho fued for now. I'm wondering where this is gonna go for Wrestlemania though. I have a funny feeling that Edge is gonna come in here somewhere. There hasn't been anything hinting at it yet, but Chris Jericho and Edge have had a decent fued before, and they never had a proper chance to blow the fued off. Christian's part in the fued is also getting him over with me, and is another thing that makes me think Edge will play a part. Christian should be getting over as a badass heel with this fued as well. Kane v Undertaker fued is being played REALLY well so far. When the Undertaker gong happened, I nearly hit the roof. When Spike Dudley came out, I was laughing. Now, on RAW, the titantron goes all crazy, and hints at the return of the Dead Man. Kane then realises he's in the great blue light that Undertaker used to have. That should be a GREAT visual. WWE REALLY seem to be hitting their A-Game when it comes to Mania. I think it's amazing that Smackdown hasn't been able to get these kinds of fueds going. I'm not gonna pass much comment on Smackdown though untill AFTER I see it, but I wonder if they'll do anything to continue the Brock v Berg fued.

Wanna know WHY he's doing a good job ? Because it's the first fued WWE have booked involving Orton that people have been caring about. It's not Orton's fault his previous fueds were shit. This is a PROPER fued, and it's doing well so far. It WILL help Orton, if they make the match dramatic enough, make it go about 20 minutes and then have Orton come out winning CLEAN.
-
What I meant was they play simple music, but it's done REALLY well.
-
That's why I hated them so much. I WANTED to see bubblegum pop, that's what I was there to see, and I was more shocked than anything at 'The Business'. Oh, and GC may have stole Pistols ideas, but The Business sounded SO much like them it wasn't even funny. I would actually say that GC are, at best, mediocre musicians, but they have enough energy in their music to make me ignore it.

I'd mark out for Triple R. I'm actually wondering what kinda reaction that would get on here.

The last five minutes were good for the Benoit marks. For someone who isn't a Benoit fan, that stuff might have been pretty weak, but the end was REALLY good, and well pulled off by both guys. That was the ONLY part of the last five minutes I really enjoyed. The difference is that Foley was an AWESOME promo cutter, and that is VERY important if you are gonna run a storyline like that. I will mark out as well, but it won't be a matter of WHEN, it will be a matter of IF.

Sometimes in promos, Randy Orton seems like he's trying too hard, and that's the only REAL problem I see with him. Obviously, he needs improving in the ring, anyone at his stage in the game WOULD need improving, and that comes in time. As for the look, if he started to look serious, it would help. He always looks cocky and it isn't really working for him. Pairing Randy Orton with Mick Foley could help with his match planning. I don't think that you can deny that Foley can carry a good match, and it doesn't matter if it's a brawl or whatever, but he has the planning which Randy Orton can learn from and if they work it right, Orton WILL go over. If they do it wrong, Orton will take ALL the blame ( even though everything is WWE's fault apart from Orton's push apparently, which is ALL his fault ) and won't be anymore over. With Benoit on RAW as well, that COULD help Orton as well.

You know something, there is something about this band that I REALLY like. I decided to go and see if they could cut it live. The had an AWFUL support band called 'The Business'. This might have worked for OTHER bands, but a Sex Pistols wannabe band are NOT the kind of band that are gonna warm the crowd up. Do you see the young crowd warming up to songs like 'We Want Justice, Not Politics' ? STUPID choice of support band. It's when they start talking about being working class that crowd REALLY seem to hit the 'we don't give a fuck' mode. I could not have been happier when they got off stage, and it's also the first time I've ever phoned my mate to tell him how shit a support band were as soon as they were done. It was AWFUL. So, when the opening of 'A New Beginning' started up, the fans were rabid, and when the song kicked in, the whole place just went WILD ! The biggest mosh pit I think I've seen started, and the entire seating area ( which is where I was ) was going wild as well. Then, 'The Anthem' starts a huge singalong. They had the whole place ( including me ) eating out of the palm of their hands. 'This Is The Anthem, Throw All Your Hands Up' ... and that's EXACTLY what everyone did. They then went on to the VERY Blink-esque 'Story Of My Old Man'. I'm unsure of the order of the rest of the set. The older songs didn't get as big of a reaction than the newer songs due to the debut album not doing very well in the UK, although 'Seasons' was immense, and 'Waldorf Worldwide' was a HELL of a lot of fun, but it was songs like 'The Day That I Die' and 'Girls and Boys' that made the crowd react. The highlight of the night though was the AMAZING 'Hold On'. They ended with 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' which is IMO, the weakest of their singles. The entire show ( apart from the support band ) was a breath of fresh air, and one of the best pop shows you are EVER likely to see. I would give the show a 9/10.

Just be thankful that it wasn't Hardcore Holly in the Royal Rumble, because we would have to complain about a FULL NELSON~! That WOULD be a reason to be pissed.

Lets remember how much Rocky Maivia sucked at the start. Lets remember how much HHH sucked at the start. He can develop. It needs time. What it doesn't need is people jumping down his throat every week.

I'm a HUGE Benoit fan, but this is a point which HAS to be made. It's the same with my feelings on Orton. He is a decent worker, but the guy can't cut a promo for shit, and because of that, he seems a little stale, and THAT is a reason Randy Orton isn't over. As for Chris Benoit, the guy is one of the best wrestlers EVER to grace a WWE ring and I think we all know this. He has the intensity in the ring, but his promos don't have it. The best way WWE can do this is KEEP HIM OFF THE MIC ! That way, he can just let the ringwork do the talking like it has for the majority of his WWE stint.

Did everyone ignore the AWESOME pop that John Cena got ?
-
You know something, people are just gonna have to realise that this is gonna happen whether you like it or not. Complaining isn't gonna get you anywhere.
-
I have to say that I was delighted at the amount of time they gave Randy Orton in the match.
-
Micheal Shane v Chris Sabin should be decent, and I can see Chris Sabin maybe winning the X Title.
-
I ordered it, and some guys are coming over here. It's on at 1am, but we don't actually care, and we're doing an all nighter and going into college the next day, basically because if we go to sleep, we WILL be late. Do you think going into college drunk would be better than going in tired ?
-
Okay it was a shame he lost a leg and all, but I couldn't give a fuck if I never had to look at the guy again.
-
Okay, I know I usually defend Orton, but Sault has a point. Orton is as over as the ring post.
