More WWE Workers To Be Sent To OVW

Shit, Jacqueline is still employed? I take it as being obvious that Ivory, Jackie and Kanyon are going to be trainers (with the Tough Enough and "I trained Jay Leno" connections) and SoH and Stamboli are being trained, but why the hell not send down some of the other non-pushed green wrestlers. I'm sure Velocity fans can cope without Orlando Jordan or Matt Morgan for a month or two
  2. Hey, how come no-one assumed this was "What Up Mach?" from the album WCW Mayhem??? Was it really so obvious that it was his WWF theme? Actually, "What Up Mach?" sucked, my mistake. 1. Mark Henry- Sexual Chocolate 2. Backseat Boyz- the one they use in CZW 3. Buff Bagwell- Buff Daddy 4. Christian- the rock-opera one he debuted after the Edge split 5. Simon Diamond- Simon Says 6. Sting- that Metallica song he used (Seek and Destroy?) 7. Raven- WCW theme 8. Sid- WWF circa 1997 9. Ted DiBiase- WWF theme 10. Hulk Hogan- Real American

    Smackdown spoilers

Aw man, how much of a pussy do they want to make Brock look? He's a 6'5 300lb monster, with an amateur wrestling background and muscles where I didn't know you could have muscles, and stood nose to nose with the Undertaker, the Big Show and Kurt Angle and he's hiding behind the Big Show to get away from Sparky Plugg?? The mind boggles. But hey, nice to see Rhyno in the main event, even though the odds on him winning were none

    Wrestler Entrance Themes

I loved Simon Diamond's "Simon Says" theme, that was pretty cool. Who the hell was that by? I also loved Sting using Metallica for his WCW theme, that always sounded awesome.
  5. Hacksaw Jim Duggan had a monopoly on crap finishers. Not only was there the 3 Point Stance mentioned before, but also the "Old Glory Kneedrop" which he used in WCW. Also Loch Ness used an elbow drop as a finish, but then again, he was so damn fat it was all he could do.

    Wrestling 101

Don't mean to sound like a picky arse, but Brian Pillman once explained how that works. When you hit a dropkick, you push your legs out expecting to make impact with the chest of your opponent, so you adjust your body accordingly. When you miss the dropkick, you don't make contact with the opponent, meaning your feet are not able to push off from the opponents body, thus causing you to land awkwardly and knocking the wind out of you. Damn, I do sound like a picky arse

    The 50 Greatest WM Moments

Man, I wish Hart/ Piper from WM VIII was there, simply because it's still my favourite match ever, but you can't disagree with 7, just because it is THE defining wrestling moment. The match is dreadful, but I still watch it often just for that moment

    The 50 Greatest WM Moments

If ANYONE selects these, I'll be shocked, nay disgusted

    60. No matter how diabolical your past discretions, turning face makes you instantly purer than the freshly fallen snow 61. If you kick someone more than two times in a row, you have "educated feet" 63. No matter how much debris has been scattered throughout the ring from the use of an illegal object, the ref will never question where it came from 64. Patriotism is GOOD 65. Unless you're not American

So who calls the actual Rumble?

As long as Lawler isn't involved, colour me happy. Or Coachman for that matter. Maybe even keep JR off it. Dammit, I hope they give it to Cole and Tazz. Ain't going to happen though. Who called it last year?

    A quick CZW question

OK, I recently bought Tables, Ladders and Violence on eBay, and much to my surprise, after the event was another CZW show, called They Said It Couldn't Be Done Again, with a main event of Justice Pain and the Backseat Boyz vs VD and Jay Briscoe. There I was enjoying this match, when the video runs out just after Kashmere takes Jay Briscoe over to the announce table. My question is: what happens next? I don't know who wins, if there was a finish (Mark Briscoe was lurking nearby, so it could have been a screwjob) or if something sick happened. Can anyone put me out of my misery? Thanks in advance Oh, and also, who the hell was Barr Camm? He seems to be a semi-talented novelty jobber? What happened to him?

    What would you recommend?

I'd certainly include the Art Barr/ Eddie Guerrero vs El Hijo Del Santo/ Octogon mask vs hair match from When World's Collide. One of the best matches I've seen

    Christmas is coming...

Basically, I'm wondering what gifts you think would be most appropriate for your favourite WWE stars. Remember it's the season of goodwill, so everytime you say "Mark Jindrak- a personality", Santa will give you a piece of coal To kick things off: TRIPLE H: the Ultimate Ric Flair collection (so he can learn that his idol, Flair, actually put his opponents over in interviews and in the ring. Remember, if you tell us Booker T (for example) is nothing, who have you beaten? A nothing!) SCOTT STEINER: a time machine to the early 90's, when he was still the man in the ring HARDCORE HOLLY: a hair transplant- seriously, no-one will take the balding man seriously nowadays- it worked for Hogan, but that was 15 years ago IVORY: those trousers with rear view ass-crack again BOOKER T: a clean slate, so Jerry Lawler will stop making convict jokes over and over again Sorry these sucked, I'm relying on you guys for answers that are, you know, funny

    The Darkness

I have to say, the Darkness are best enjoyed in the live environment. I got the album, which I enjoyed, but when I saw them at Reading, not only did the quality of their set make me adore the album (album of the year, motherfuckers) but, coming after Staind bored me to tears with a shite acoustic set, they were like gods to me
  15. Dustin WAS the American Nightmare... in his piss poor 2000 WCW run, where he feuded with Terry Funk. Don't bring back THAT gimmick.

    Quick question...

Yeah, Kidman teamed with John "bland babyface" Cena, the only team to make Jindrak and Cade look charismatic, in the Smackdown tag title tournament. The next week, having lost to Los Guerreros, Cena challenged Kidman to a match, which he won with some sneaky cheating. The next week, they had a rematch, Kidman got his win back, and thus ended the greatest feud ever.

    The PS 50

I'm pretty sure, from my reading of it, that it's not only how you do in the ring, but how your career progressed that year. One of the reasons AJ Styles is placed so highly isn't so much on his ring abilities, but due to his stellar year (winning the NWA title etc). For this reason, they also explain why wrestlers got dropped from the list this year. For example, Trent Acid had a stellar 2002 (won Best Of The Best, debuted in RoH, TNA etc), but, although being a great wrestler, did little this year in terms of achievements to make himself stand out, which is why he got dropped on favour of new kids on the block like Sabin

    Here's an idea

How about Billy Kidman? How dull must he be to hold the Cruiserweight belt and STILL have people forget about him. Oh, and there is also Shannon Moore, but I suppose he's busy being a hoss' bitch

    The PS 50

They also had a good one this year with Christopher Daniels, where they finally ended the rumour that Daniels was in the Spiderman movie.
  20. I'm picking Sabin, just because I see Daniels and Low Ki as being past the X-title, and being more suited to an upper-midcard run. Honestly though, I'd love to see anyone take the title of Shane, but Sabin, to me, is most likely
  21. I thought Goldust was going to be the mystery stalker in the "I still remember" storyline. The one that was dropped after his contact was not renewed

    RAW Preview

Love the way there is a picture of Vince on the site with the caption "The greatest of all time" And the Cat is much more than an entertainer? Haven't seen much proof of this

    Get rid of Don West

Personally, I think West does a good job on colour. From what I've seen of TNA, he knows enough about the matches to speak without sounding stupid and, really, does it hurt to have someone sound enthusiastic about the product? That said, I did love BG James' impression of him in July

    Roster cuts

Jackie I can certainly see, but I reckon Ivory will hold on for a while. She's popular backstage, does all the promotional tours and Tough Enough shit that they ask her to and has appeared on TV, nay PPV, more recently than Jackie. Others likely to go: Hopefully Kanyon (so he's not forced to job to Orlando Jordan each week) Tommy Dreamer Val Venis Lance Storm
