I had a tooth that has been giving me some problems the past few days... so I woke up yesterday to see it was infected and the right side of my face was swelling. After 4 hours of work, I left to go to the dentist and they said if I didn't come in a couple of hours earlier, I probably would have to go to the hospital. Basically... the swelling was getting close to my eye, so I got some antibiotics today to stop that. And then today, I went to an oral surgeon who did a draining to trying and get rid of the swelling. So far, so good... probably will have to get a crown or a root canal though for that tooth. Oy...

Here's a thought that I haven't seen talked about much.... Do you think the Detroit Tigers will have enough over the season to be able to make the playoffs? It'll be tough since they have to fight the White Sox in their own division AND fight off either the Jays, Yankees, or Red Sox in the Wild Card in case the division doesn't work out for them. I think they have a great chance based on their pitching. It's young. Their ERA I believe is the best in the AL at the moment (don't have the stats in front of me at the time). And their hitting is surprising me so far this season. I thought they were gonna rise in their division next year... but they're already showing signs of greatness.

Griffey looked like the Griffey of old last night with a hell of a catch in center and a 3 run jack. Good for him. In the 90s, there was NO ONE better than Griffey and it's good to see he has stayed somewhat healthy so far this season. Here's to hoping he gets to 600 homers before his career ends.

I was kinda hoping the first set of spoilers were true. A Mercury/Hardy team could work out really well in my mind. And Lashley is the U.S. champion? Fine with me. I've never had a problem with the guy, and this is a good way to get him over without having to show off his weaknesses in long main event matches. And this show needs more Kennedy. And I also find it funny that every fake spoiler had the fucking leprachaun running in and causing shit.
