I got that vibe as well. Ted was in his apartment and saw the fake vomit on his doormat. It just seems impossible for Ted to go get the mat for Robin then go back to his apartment. Rey plays the sympathetic babyface very well. Triple H has been wanting to work with him for a long time now, and this is the best chance to do so (when Rey's popularity is at a "peak"). Triple H has already dealt with RVD and made it clear Smokey the Bear isn't on his level.

And pointing out that Hogan has never beaten Warrior is an actually decent storyline, because it makes it like "Will the dastardly leader of nWo finally get his ass handed to him by the guy who has the best chance of doing so?" kind of deal. I understand but this is a time where TNA has to see if THEY ALONE can draw the gates. If they rely on the other promoters like they are, then they will not be able to know which areas are really areas that TNA can run and do well in. Right now the way they are going about it is that TNA is this special attraction in part of a bigger card. They need to run independently from that.

There's a difference between a ring where you can freely go out and back in and a cage which RESTRICTS what you can do. A show based around all ladder matches: redundant A show based around all cage matches: redundant A show based around all of the same damn GIMMICK match: redundant A show based around no gimmicks: Not redundant due to the different ways you can go with it.
