  1. and have the kid's parents sue the NFL for smearing him on the field? Where the hell would that come from? You said let a prima donna get his ass handed to him by the pros.... You're basically saying, "Let a 19 year old wide receiver get drilled by a 31 year old, 265 lbs linebacker with 10 year experience".... which would definitely lead to the kid having serious injuries.
  2. But they do co-exist in a team system. The street ballers would get all bitchy when they realize they won't be as big stars in NBA as they were on the streets. Ever heard of the saying, "Big fish in a small pond"?
  3. Street ball is VASTLY different than NBA. The rules are different, and most of the street ballers doesn't have the discipline to go through 82 games. Their tricks would get figured out and countered within two weeks.

  5. I was Jake and Perfect. That game ruled for old-school wrestling gaming.
  6. Orton vs Shelton In all seriousness, the HHH/Y2J HIAC would have gone on last if it wasn't the two biggest politickers fighting for the title (Hogan and Taker) and Hogan/Taker had a build that supposedly involved 1992. HHH/HBK will main event, despite Benoit/Kane being for the title. Just look who's in the cell.
  7. my high school calculus teacher actually had Contra III in his office, and he would let people play it after they finished their tests, etc.... old memories.....
  8. I think that while the idea is good in its intentions, they are basically saying that if a few cynics doesn't like a game, the developers are penalized for it. That dude who worked for Disney had a good point, the reviewers sometimes don't necessarily know how to review certain games like games marketed to the young kids or so forth. It's just going to break down a lot of agreements between the studios and developers.
  9. "And the angle could have drew at the PPV!"- Chris Jericho, WOW Magazine in 1999 shortly after his arrival in WWF.
  10. Is spelling really that tough? And Bobby's real last name, or at least the name he inherited from Rick, is Rood.
  11. I'm guessing we can chalk up a Jarrett win.
  12. The girl in Ripper's sig is Stacey Dash, from the movie/tv show Clueless.
  13. Final Fantasy? Not quite. They didn't get insanely overrated until, oh, say FFVII. Plus X and XI didn't get nearly as much attention as VII. The GTAs get attention in the gaming press rivaling fucking Friends. Friends has a game? I am a fan of GTA3 and that's it. Didn't like Vice City and probably won't like San Andreas.
  14. Lita = Torrie with slightly more morals and without the looks. That's news to me. Isn't she currently doing an angle where there's implied sexual interaction with Kane? At least she's doing it for a noble cause--Kane not killing Matt. It's not like she made a bet that she's screw Kane then fulfilled it. Plus, you forgot Torrie was with Nidia. and Sable

  16. It was pretty sad Lita couldn't even act like she loved Matt Hardy, her real life boyfriend.
  17. Nah he isnt a retard. He's an intelligent guy who plans to open his own fed. Pay him respect! (Yes I know the guy)
  18. I'd just get a bar of candy so that I'd not make such a mess if I shat on the floor during execution.
  19. I think that is what you meant. nope, I meant the defense of Jordan. Jordan really was underrated as a defender just because his offense was always more noticeable. Credit to basketballreference.com Jordan's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): Averaged 2.35 SPG & .83 BPG Kidd's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): 2.11 SPG & .32 BPG Let's compare Allen Iverson(Considered a great defensive guard at least steals wise). Iverson's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): 2.38 SPG & .22 BPG To further this, let's look at Gary Payton(Considered by some as the best defensive Guard ever) Payton's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): 2.09 SPG & .24 BPG And Jordan won Defensive Player of Year awards as well. He's the complete package. I'd just combine myself and Jordan and I'd already be one of the best players.
  20. Current: NFL- wide receiver/returner Antwaan Randle El (Pittsburgh Steelers) a definite playmaker when he wants to be. MLB- pitcher Mark Mulder (Oakland Athletics) One of the game's young lions who is definitely going places. NBA- don't follow it much, but I like Tracy McGrady and Kevin Garnett. Lifetime: NFL- RB Walter Payton (Chicago Bears) No explanation needed. MLB- Pitcher Jim "Catfish" Hunter (Oakland Athletics) underrated pitcher IMO NBA- Michael Jordan
  21. Is my eyes deceiving me? Are you guys actually saying good things about Tuiasosopo?? And to someone who said Shannon will be joining Sanders, no... because CBS released Sanders.
  22. I always hated that idea that a perfect game be applied to a game where you don't allow a batter to reach plate. I always felt that should be called a no-hitter and that a perfect game be 27 K's with no hits, walks, etc. I know its impossible to do so, but hey, I did it on MVP Baseball!
  23. Meh I'm not a Browns fan but I always preferred Quincy Morgan over Dennis Northcutt.
  24. It was 2001, and the Packers played B+ football against a decent schedule for the whole year. Minnesota should have had a great year then but Culpepper and the defense decided to choke the whole year as opposed to just the end, and well Chicago and Green Bay ran away with it, but it was damn obvious the Rams were the creme of the NFC crop that year. I stand corrected. But nevertheless, that 2001 was a great year for Bears and Packers. One of the few years both teams are equally competitive.
  25. If that's not a serious case of overpayment I don't know what is.
