No, but he could have interactions with Mankind or Austin or even HHH before the match. Or have him be a guest commentator (seeing how he used to be one) or something like that. It just irritates me that they wanted HHH to ultimately win, but they figure they rather have HHH beat Austin where it meant something (PPV) yet his FIRST TITLE WIN was not worthy of PPV. All because Jesse Ventura couldn't raise his hand. Way to let someone who means nothing to your plans long term dictate the booking.

Yes considering there were many other options of how to use Ventura than guest refereeing a match that he couldn't have a heel win.

Considering teams like Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, LSU, and even USC (though a longshot) have games to play next weekend, I don't think Georgia has a shot at the title game. If WVU and Mizzou loses somehow, one of those teams would leap Georgia and play Ohio State in the title game.

Only spots I'd disagree with is Georgia and Virginia Tech's placements, but not a bad poll.

Probably not. I don't know if Ohio State could beat anyone in the top 10 at this point, but all I was saying is that it's silly to act like UConn is this juggernaut that West Virginia destroyed. They weren't.

Umm that UConn was overrated to begin with? Not that I think Ohio State deserves it but to act like beating UConn who wasn't even on the radar until halfway through this season when people STILL thought they weren't legit is as credible as Ohio State beating a team like Michigan or Penn State is just ridiculous and pretty blatant OSU hating (but then again you DO hate Ohio State, don't you).

Sapp has tremendous charisma and has an intimidating presence. Watch him be just another henchman for Mitchell.

Not to mention USC would win the conference if Oregon and Arizona State lost one more game each while USC beats UCLA. By the way, I think West Virginia COULD beat anyone if everything went as they planned, but don't act like they are invincible or that they are too much for a team to overcome.

As much as I want to see West Virginia in the title game just to help break down the "Big East=step above mid major" notion, I really HONESTLY cannot see them beating any of the traditional powerhouse teams. With Boise State last year, they caught Oklahoma napping. West Virginia is a big enough name that I don't see anyone sleeping on them, so it would be very difficult for them.

Oklahoma also made the BCS title game against LSU despite losing the conference title game against Kansas State.

LSU could easily jump Ohio State with a good SEC title game showing as Florida showed last year (compared to Michigan), but USC? Nah.

I'd say so. I'm glad it's coming down to two teams people didn't really think would make it. (Well now that USC isn't going to make it, that is)

I'll say Nagata just to set up the Angle/Nagata match at least on the U.S. side.
