I should make a last mention in regards to the Bears, the mocks I've seen has them taking Andre Woodson, but that was when they had better/worse (depending on your take) draft position. The last two wins probably pushed them out of Woodson's range.

Have more faith AoO. Yes we have defensive needs but the Bears has shown that they are pretty good at drafting defense, so they can spend the later rounds on that. Our two biggest holes are in that offensive backfield, one being the guy taking the snaps and the other being the guy usually taking the handoffs. Too big of pieces there to have gaping holes, eh?

Let's not forget the Steelers won it as a 6 seed. I think Jacksonville has an absolutely great shot of making the Super Bowl, but that's pretty much it (NE/Indy/JAX being the only three I would expect to make it on the AFC side), the NFC is a crapshoot and anyone could make it to the Super Bowl from that conference. Well New York Giants has to be excluded because Eli Manning will not put together 3 wins in a row in the playoffs against the cream of the 2007 NFC crop.

After talking with Alkeiper, he brought up a good point: The steroid bar started in 1994, but in the 1970s it's pretty common for professional wrestlers to use steroids as well as football players. Is it really that hard to imagine MLB players would do it then as well? So the Hall might be already filled with some roid users, which makes the whole "OMG BONDS CHEATED! GET HIS ASS AWAY FROM THE HALL!" point sort of naive and/or hypocritical. As for perjury, it's odd how Bonds is being prosecuted for it but RAFAEL PALMEIRO, who actually flat out lied ON NATIONAL TELEVISION to Congress, isn't.

Don't get me wrong. The Packers set a nice foundation for the future on defense and with their receivers, but once you take out that Hall of Fame quarterback, I don't see the team sustaining the kind of success they are seeing this season. If Favre comes back next season, we might see a similar season to this one OR we might see him regress to the guy with like a 70 passer rating that he was in 2005-2006.

The irony of VX gloating about his SUPER PREDICTION is that he probably doesn't realize the Packers are probably an one year wonder like the Bears were last year, especially if Favre retires after this season.
