"I'm not wearing pants. I split my pants and now I'm not wearing pants." I use that line every chance I get.

Bout god dang time. I'm wondering what exactly they are going to do. Are Dean and Hank (right? I always forget his name) coming back or are they really dead and buried? It should be awesome, because Patrick Warburton is hilarious.

No, we both decided we didn't give a damn about Superman. Just seemed "eh" to me in the previews.

I'll be seeing Click next weekend since there isn't anything new coming out I want to see. Looking forward to it actually, sounds like a decent enough film.

The problem with ECW fans is as following. You told them you were bringing back ECW. You gave them WWE wrestlers, with the only build up being they are WWE wrestlers, and you took away some of the hardcore and others elements that made them love ECW and you want them to just blindly accept everything. You're right, it's three weeks in. You don't get respect, you earn it and right now the new ECW hasn't earned an ounce of respect. You can't skin the corpse and wear it as a suit and expect some fans to not see what you are doing. They might accept the new ECW over time, they might not, but right now they are not going to. The biggest mistake they made, to a crowd at the ECW arena, starting an ECW show off with "Let the Bodies hit the floor" and not the ECW theme. That theme is huge to anyone who has been at an ECW event, it's almost like the first jolt to wake Frankenstein's monster. You NEED it. And then sending Heyman out to try and justify? No, you don't send Heyman out to justify what he is doing, that's the biggest mistake you can make. They should have sent Heyman out there to completely BLAST things, not walk out and say, "Well yeah, I compromised"...no, you NEVER say that word to them. They are not normal people, they are the ECW mutants. Did they react stupid? Yes. Did the WWE and "ECW" give them a reason to do it? YES! They took away all things ECW at the very START of the show. No theme music and no Steven announcing. I mean it's a house show in the ECW arena! ECW isn't ECW, it's the big budget Hollywood remake with the old stars tossed in for cameos. And that is how the fans are going to see it until they are proved wrong. A two minute cane match? A ref taking away a chair? No theme to start the show? Exactly what from that show comes off as them trying to win the fans over?

But what network would "The Critic" have been put on? Comedy Central cancelled it, ABC cancelled it, FOX cancelled it and UPN dropped it before it aired a new episode. I love the show and I own the DVD set, but it became obvious it just wasn't going to make it. Unless Cartoon Network decides to sweep up the remains from Comedy Central and it becomes a new huge hit, I think it's safe to say "The Critic" is dead and buried. Which sucks, because we need more of Jay's dad Franklin NOW!

It was only shoplifting. Baby steps man, from drug use down to shoplifting. It's progress.

Dude, I really hope you called her. She couldn't have been throwing a harder signal at you to call. She liked talking to you and you acted like yourself. She seems to actually like you, so just be yourself and relaxed and it'll be cool.

No, because he seems to be really gay or bi. That word was never intended to be used for gay people. There was a different word that people used to describe someone who was gay.

Whichever one will get them the higher funding is the answer they will go with at that time.

I get the bad feeling that ECW is going to get swept at the PPV. Which would be bad, no matter how they do it. I don't think that Angle will beat Orton again, I get the feeling The Big Show will chokeslam Sabu or something and of course who knows the ending for the Edge/RVD match but we know it's an RVD loss.

Not in the wrestlinbg world. Steiner is still portrayed as one of the strongest guys in the world because of his arms. His chairshots SHOULD be devastating. Problem is I have never seen a guy from WCW throw a good chairshot. EVER. Yeah. That chairshot was lame, there should've been at least two or three of them. Either that or he should've hit Joe once with the chair, and then brawled with him rather than having Joe KO'd from that weak-ass looking shit. I think it worked well considering the amount of shots to the head Joe had taken in the match. I hate when a guy gets kicked in the head about a dozen times and then he needs to take two chairshots to bring him down. And Senshi is brutally stiff. That top rope stomp, even with the other guy obviously bracing for it, looks painful as hell.

I thought we were right to go, but that we botched it royally. We are just kinda sitting there until it's time to go, which I honestly think a date has already been set in private between us and the Iraqi government. I just don't think we nor they want us to be stupid enough to announce when we are leaving.

Too bad Hawkins and Ray blew the save.

Will the Texans get more than 3 wins this season? I think they will do a lot better than people are thinking they will. They addressed all of their needs in the draft. Grabbed defense, two strong offensive linemen and I think snagged some offensive help late. Just a question of if that offensive line can improve at all from last season cause they are going to have a solid defense.

I agree, whoa...

If Team USA was in the Mexico group, they would still have just one point. USA was outplayed in one game, that was against the Czechs and I think most teams in the World Cup could have outplayed them in the first game the way they looked. They look confused and lost. Team USA played poor defense, they had poor execution in every game, and they just looked extremely sluggish and tenative in every game. While every other team was going balls out trying to make it, Team USA was playing like a team that thought the World Cup starts next month. It was another situation of tons of hype to see something very unimpressive.
-
He got way overhyped. I'm sure he's a good player somewhere, but this year in the World Cup he was nothing. And the announcers shouldn't have been kind to Team USA with that "showing courage" bull. They played way too timid in that second half, they didn't attack strong, they didn't take advantage of the flops when they were given them and just overall didn't play like a team that needed to win to advance. Doing the "good football thing" of kicking the ball out is nice and all, but not when down a goal with five minutes left in a game you must win. So the #2 and the #5 in the World are out. I'm excited about Ghana though, I just love the way they play.

How can they just decide they aren't paying him the rest of his deal? A buyout is one thing, but I don't get how you can just say "oh we aren't going to pay him his contract". I hope Stern rules to stick them with the whole deal. He won't. He'll rule against Brown, give him maybe 7-10 million of the deal, and the Knicks will move on to sucking out what little life is left in New York basketball fans next season.
-
Larry just got 50 million dollars to coach the Knicks for one bad season. I wonder if the Knicks are taking applications for jobs? Cause I can totally see this franchise hiring someone as head coach after the person applied for the hot dog stand.

I forgot the think word but have you seen Luger recently? He really looks like a buffed up Mick Jagger. I also forgot the K in his name. Damn, that sentence was a mess. I better go clean it up.
-
Team USA is just not that good. The announcers can pretend they are, but they just aren't. They are slow, they make horrible decisions on defense, and they usually blow wide open shots when they get them. Team USA deserves to be in the round 16 but as much as Easter Island.
-
Jack Black with a dishelved beard, then have him hit by a bus.
-
Questionable call puts Team USA down 2-1 before the break. I have no idea what the guy did to get called for a penalty kick foul but alright. And Team USA needs a defense. They are absolutely horrible at clearing the ball.
-
Why exactly would Lex Luger be talking about ECW anyway? Sounds like someone who just did a good job of pretending to be Luger cause I don't think the Mick Jagger lookalike could form a sentence talking let alone type one.
