  1. I think this is might be a good example of their thinking. A lot of Strippers call themselves Dancers so their not recognized as someone taking their clothes off for money while dancing. Hookers like to call themselves escorts so their legally paid to accompany someone instead of being paid illegally for sex.
  2. I know about a few rules WA had... 1. Wrestlers can't cut themselves. We actually had to make sure no one mentioned that people were going to bleed during the show when the woman from the commission was around. 2. The show can't start without an ambulance and EMTs present. We actually had to postponed the show for about 30 minutes because the EMTs were late. 3. If their is a cage match, the person from the commission must check out the cage before the match can take place. At one of the shows I was at, the woman from the commission actually went around the cage inside and out, and ran her hand against it to make sure it wasn't sharp enough to cut people. It was really weird seeing it. Oregon is also pretty strict. Luckily California state athletic commission doesn't go after any professional wrestling at all, so promotions down here can get away with just about anything.
  3. I got to play a little of Fallout 3 earlier tonight. It's pretty fun, though I want to play more of it so I can get a better grasp of the gameplay and feel. I played off a friends savepoint, so I only got to do so much, but what I got to play wasn't to shabby.
  4. I would say it's because the internet crowd gets to see more of them over than what the TV crowd sees of them. The internet crowd sees more of their talking skills as well as their wrestling skills while really the TV crowd mainly sees them wrestle and barely ever talking.
  5. Athletic Commissions are assholes and will find the smallest little detail to give a company a fine or stop the event happening all together. The Athletic Commission in WA is a giant pain in the ass.
  6. No, I just think people overreact and will find any excuse to bash WWE over something so small and petty. I agree, it's also the same deal in the TNA folder.
  7. You're wrong on that though AntiLeaf. What Vince is trying to do is just find loopholes to avoid stupid rules from state athletic commissions and to also get away from certain taxes. It's actually quite smart of Vince to try and do this. By doing this, they can really escape a lot of fines a state athletic commission could give Vince and the WWE say if someone bled or if there was a cage match that the commission wouldn't have allowed to have happen. So when you really look it, it's probably one of the smartest things Vince has really done in a long time. Besides that, I honestly don't think the term "Entertainer" will hold up to long. It might be used for say a year or two, but once WWE is able to establish themselves as a entertainment company, they'll be able to refer to wrestlers how ever they want to.
  8. The Edge DVD sounds awesome...totally awesome!
  9. Yup my friend. Though I may do it as well as I could use some money as well.
  10. You sir, get a rimshot for that one. Ba dom ching!
  11. No!!!! She just needs some extra money to pay some bills and she wanted to look into getting money for donating blood.
  12. http://forum.f4wonline.com/bb/viewtopic.ph...asc&start=0 So THE BOARD~! is a reputable news source now? I'm not doubting them, but come on now, let's wait for them to actually get posted. If someone takes the time to post them on the board, you'd think they would e-mail Dave or Bryan to put them on the main page so I'm sure they'll show up anyway (if they haven't already), but it's safer to wait. .......I really want to say something about this but.....nahhhh.
  13. I have a friend whose looking to make some quick money by donating blood. The problem is when she or I look for a blood bank that pays someone for donating blood, we both can't find any. So are they still out there? And if so, do they even pay well? (I'm looking for blood banks in the SF bay area)
  14. That's twice La Parka (L.A. Park) has had an image of his pop up with WWE without actually being in the WWE.
  15. ...I'd hit it. I've seen Brutus in person before...the man is the freakiest looking person I have ever seen! You know that saying "someone you don't want to meet in a dark alley." yeah...Beefcake is THAT person.

    NFL Week 7

I don't know when it comes to the Ravens. The Raiders still has a bad O-line and the Ravens were crushing the 0-line of Miami today, so if the Ravens can still do that against the Raiders, the Raiders will probably screwed.

  21. I wanna see the Bob Backland bit. That sounds funny as hell.
  22. So did Yukes take out that stupid "If you make your CAW into a "dirty" wrestler, he can only use certain moves. If you make your CAW into a "clean" wrestler, well he can only do certain moves." rule then?
  23. Seeing that people are talking about not watching TNA anymore because Joe lost the title to Sting is funny. The finish of both Jarrett/Angle and Stine/Joe were fine and people are just over reacting. Jarrett vs Angle: Honestly no one saw this coming? Whenever a wrestling match has a special enforcer, something like what we saw tonight is bound to happen. It's just booking 101 and it's not like Jarrett went out and got a weapon first, or that Foley attacking Angle wasn't justified. It was Angle who took advantage of the Referee being laid out and it was Angle who gave Foley a baseball swing of a chair shot., then hit Jarrett with a chair. The finish of the match was completely justified. Plus it keeps what has been a good feud so far, going. Joe vs Sting: TNA's been waiting to pull the trigger on Nash turning on Joe for a long time now, but tonight was the perfect night to do it. The set up was completely there. Joe, instead of taking the chance to keep his championship and beat Sting, instead dis-respects Sting and doesn't take the chance to end the match and keep his title. Which pisses off Nash because it's not what Nash has taught him in the mentor role Nash has been doing for the past few months, so Nash turns. It was very obvious that both of these finishes were going to happen tonight. I don't see why people are getting so worked up about.
