  1. Hell, it's hard to find a truly legendary American hockey player on par within the sport itself. Maybe Brett Hull, though that's a bit of gray area there.
  2. Bob and Tom are allright. I listen to them every morning. The downside with them is their annoying laughter over their own bits (some of which aren't terribly funny), and their tendency to continually reair the same old sketches/interviews. Considering the alternatives offered around here (see: Imus, Don), I'll take 'em
  3. I'd never heard of Glenn Beck before the local "comedy" (which is steadily going downhill) station dropped the last two months of Phil Hendrie in favor of his show. After listening to 15 minutes of that shite, I wish I'd never heard of him
  4. Good god, Slayer, Don and Mike suck. I'd rather listen to ESPN radio than that shit. Good for you.
  5. Not unless every kid today is on dr... Nevermind
  6. Slayer

duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh dun dun, duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh dun dun
  7. Much like his namesake, OS keeps trying to get over with the crowd, but they're just not buying it
  8. Slayer

    Guitar players

You could always get Rick Nielsen's 5-neck guitar for that
  9. It is a tough call "Elephant Talk", "Frame by Frame", "Matte Kudesai" and "Sheltering Sky" vs. "Neal and Jack and Me", "Sartori in Tangier", "Waiting Man" and "Neurotica" One thing though is that (as with most KC) the live performances of songs from the 80's trilogy are far superior to the studio recordings (most notably on Absent Lovers)
  10. Kotz's post brought to you by Subway. Eat Fresh.
  11. Tough call. Great songs on both albums (as well as TOAPP which rounds out the 80's trilogy of KC).
  12. It's the noise you make when you raspberry someone
  13. That wasn't Bob and Tom, it was Don and Mike (who I am a big fan of), and it made me rather sad as the horrible quality of the "joke" is very unindicative of their show
  14. ...booyah?
  15. Triple H is a small republic in the British Isles
  16. Blue collar workers are never this petty!
  17. Heh, I swear Super Bowl XIX is probably the truly forgotten SB. Even amongst the famous blowouts, you never really hear about it, and of Montana's four SB's it's lost among the two close games against Cincy and the complete decimation of Denver. Very ironic for being one of the most hyped games ever.
  18. I was on the road today and missed both games, but I'm glad Brazil is gone, at least. The all-Europe final four guarantees a continuation of Europe always winning in Europe (save for once), while South America always wins outside Europe
  19. Hell, let's go the Commonwealth route, where our leaders are named without any direct input from us. Wait, nevermind...
  20. Good thing King Banky is hear to tell us misguided souls what we can and can't discuss in the Music folder!
  21. I never even got the chance to experience whether the game might suck or not, because for my PS1 memory card corrupted the save file after I had done a decent amount of playing, and I was so disheartened I never touched the game again
  22. Well now I'm torn. I want a dark horse and Portugal is the only candidate left, but my English blood won't let me root against them, either (which, of course, leaves the question of what I would do in an England-Germany final)
  23. I'd like to see Ukraine go over Italy, next. First because of the bullshit against Australia, and second because every final four needs a dark horse (ex: Korea in '02 and Croatia in '98)
