I've been ignoring Rifftrax for awhile now it seems. When I first found it, it seemed so awesome, yet after watching several of them it seems like the jokes all run together... it's hard for me to describe, but it also seems like the style of jokes is the same for all the movies I've seen. They're mostly just the standard "comment on something in the movie"... there doesn't seem to be any of the actor-resemblance jokes, bombast jokes, character impersonation jokes (though to be fair a lot of those went out the window in MST with Trace's departure), references to other works the actors have been in, etc. It's hard for me to describe, but it just seems like a lot of what made MST fun is sorely lacking in most of the Rifftrax. There's only a few Rifftrax I would watch a second time

Yes. That's really all the reason we need. The big problem as far as I see vis-a-vis the fans issue is that prior to this decade Boston fans were seen (at least, outside of NY) as somewhat sympathetic due to the Sox constantly coming up short, as well as the Pats own woes and even the mighty Celtics falling off after their last title (most notably the Bias and Lewis incidents), but apparently a good portion of fans are still trying to carry the sympathetic air ("no respect") even after five championships this decade and that's rubbing a large number of people the wrong way

In "How Media Saturation Negatively Affects Opinion" Pt XLXIV... aside from liking the Pats (especially being led by then-unheralded Michigan man Brady), I was tired of the media's constant "Warner Warner Warner" barrage, combined with the Frequent Family Shots of scary Mrs Warner in the stands, and that was good enough reason for me to root for NE in that SB

In some exceptional cases people might jump right from the second to the fourth. I know I was saying that even before the Aikman Cowboys' 3rd Super Bowl appearance, and it seemed like quite a few people were saying it after the Pats beat the Eagles.

For quite a few neutral fans, especially in this media saturated day and age, I think the perception of a dynasty tends to evolve like so 1st championship - "Well that's nice. Good for them!" 2nd championship - "Well... I guess that's allright" 3rd championship - "Okay, that's enough of that..." Beyond that - "JUST FUCKING GO AWAY ALREADY"

But they can turn around later and say "No, you couldn't deduct that. What the hell were you thinking?" even if you think you're properly following the rules in the book This caused me to have to send back some money from a refund a couple years ago
