I'd still like to know why the women's championship game was moved from the Sunday between the Final Four and Championship Game to the day after the men's title game? Was it to get it out of the "shadow" of the men's events? Fuck that. When it was on Sundays I would have it as b/g noise while working on other things as it helped bridge the men's games, but once they moved it to Tuesday, well, after Monday night the college basketball load has been blown and I don't give a shit anymore I'm wonder how (if) that's affected the ratings

I remember my sports econ professor telling me about how, while they certainly won't admit it, conference powers-that-be actually want their crappy teams to win the conference tourney, because that's one extra team that would make the tourney and bring more conference money, since the top teams would already have their tickets punched anyway
