I still think they really blew it by not doing a 3-disc blockbuster with ALL the good stuff.
-
Eddy is a fucking god on the mic, always has been.
-
The only lawsuit filed against Drudge ended in someone else paying him. Democrats are still so very bitter that he was right about Monica.
-
No way Kidman/London will be on PPV...are you crazy?
-
Good question, don't know, I havent seen anyone yet who had no problems with it. I guess it is possible that In-Demand completely went haywire.
-
Gabe never hyped any big surprise, the fans turned it into one. It could be carter too.
-
It was a TNA mistake, it happened to everyone, clearly indicating a bad tape.
-
After downloading it, it wasn't great or anything, but most of the matches ranged from medium to good. WAY better than TNA has been doing lately--which is more of an indictment of TNA than anything. The average IWA-MS or RoH show still has way better wrestling, and better storylines...TNA really needs someone to light a fire under their asses.

Austin "turning heel" on Berg would not work. Fans would go nuts for it.
-
Collyer was also on MLW prior to it being cancelled. It's going to be Punk, Lynn, or McGinniss.
-
No way they fly Williams out only to job him first round...gotta get your money's worth Plus, there's no way Punk will be the first chance given the soap opera feud with the prophecy, the pure belt is intended to have none of that stuff involved. Lynn is possible, but realize that they had this mystery man thing going before MLW was cancelled.

(1) AJ Styles vs. (8) Jimmy Rave vs. (3) Matt Stryker vs. (6) Josh Daniels (2) John Walters vs. (7) Bobby Heenan's Representative vs. (4) Doug Williams vs. (5) Chris Sabin I think this is pretty much the best way to set it up. Lots of potentially interesting matches here, like Williams-Walters, Stryker-Styles, Styles-Williams, Styles-Walters, etc...The bottom half is very hard to predict, but I feel pretty safe going with Styles on top, unless Gabe decides to give Rave or Stryker the big upset, which is possible. Depending on who the mystery guy is (all signs point to Punk), this could be one of the best wrestling tournaments ever. If I was booking, I'd have: AJ over Rave Stryker over Daniels Walters over Punk Doug over Sabin .......................... AJ over Stryker Williams over Walters .............................. Williams over Styles

What about creating new stars for more dream matches? Whoops, sorry.

I don't know the inner workings of the agreement, but RF and WWE worked together to send Mike King to jail. WWE definitely knows about RoH and RFVideo, and even let RF presale their DVDs on his website. My understanding is that there's a working agreement.

This is great, I hope they dont turn people off with how indyish the early shows look. The new shows look really good (lights, etc) but some of the old shows have some gems on them. I think they should release some "best of" DVDs.

He has sold lots of pirated stuff in the past, but he has a deal with WWE to sell WCW, WWE, and ECW stuff.
-
Benoit-Austin for me too.
-
Ha Ha Ha. Right. HHH losing in the first match. Are you nuts? Anyway, Smackdown! has Eddy Guerrero and John Cena as major babyfaces, who needs edge Put him on Raw.
-
Allowed was the wrong word, but still, the idea that he was some amazing innovator was ridiculous.
-
The pimping of Kanyon is silly, all he did was watch Indies, put the moves on TV, and allow the announcers to fawn over how "innovative" they were. He's basically a taller version of Nova. While I wouldn't mind him in TNA, it's not as if he's some world class talent.

Yikes, I thought this was one of London's worst matches this year. Glad you liked it though
-
I thought the match was awful, just like I thought the Flair-Shawn from MSG handheld was awful. Flair has nothing left, and I wish he'd just quit. Of course, I've been saying this for years.

Not the good ones

So What Did You Think Of The Contract Singing?
Michrome replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Oh, he definitely won't outwork Benoit, he's not capable of doing so. What he might do though, is no-sell offense, and do all sorts of flashy stuff that turns the crowd to his side. He's done it before. -
Paul London vs. American Dragon (4/12/03) is worlds better than anything Shawn has ever done. Maybe if you'd watch his pimped Indy matches, you'd know that they were completely psychology-based, and had better selling than Shawn has ever done. In the beginning, he was an average Indy spot guy, but by the end, he was awesome. What exactly do you mean by WWE style, anyway? Watered down wrestling that uses ref bumps to create drama for nearfalls?
