I saw this Ben & Jerry's chocolate-type flavored tonight that had this "mood ring" on it. When you touched the "mood ring" (design on package) it "changed". I dig their Mint Chocolate Cookie. Phish Food made me throw up.

Add to the fact that former pro wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette stars in the film as well and it's a regular BATTLE ROYAL!

Midnights Vs. Road Warriors New Orleans Tag Title Change is sweet, fun story, ala Rockers/P& G SSlam 90. But more realistic. Demo/Warriors was short and blah. Nastys/Warriors wasn't as good as I remembered. But that match was made on the emotion of the asshole Nasty Boys FINALLY getting the shit kicked out of them. As I watch it, its them double-teaming Hawk for 8 minutes then Animal winning it with a hot tag. Watch the announcers completely NO SELL the mace that Sags sprays in Hawk's eyes (important) and ramble on about Sid Justice. Sigh. _______________ This weekend I picked up the Road Warriors DVD for $20. I also got a Best of the Steiners DVD for $10. It has Scott/Muta, Steiners/Skyscrapers, Steiners/Doom, Steiners/Andersons, Steiners/Freebirds, Steiners/Nastys, Steiners/DeKlerk & Krueger, Steiners/Konnan & Mysterio, Steiners/Muta & Saito, Steiners/Hase & Sasaki, Steiners/Sting & Luger, Steiners/Chono & Hase, Steiners/Hase & Sasake rematch, Steiners Vs Fujinami & Izuka, Steiners Vs Doc & Gordy Clash, and Steiners Vs Bigelow & Vader. Needless to say it is the greatest 2-disc set ever.

The match Vs. Demolition on "The Road Warriors" DVD lasts 4:21 officially bell-to-finish, with The LOD defeating Crush & Smash by DQ after Fuji interferes. From 02/09/91 WWF Wrestling Challenge. Heenan & Monsoon commentary.

Here's some stupidity: "And then, the LOD made their return to WWE..." WrestleMania 14, March 1998 "It's the LOD! And Sunny! A new look, a new attitude! They are back!" Meanwhile on the extras... LOD win their 2nd WWF Tag Title months before in late '97... Odd. They should've shown the LOD returning at the Manhattan Center, then working the brutal "Chicago Street Fight" at Mania 13. Makes no sense why they didn't.

I bought this. Thus far I've watched the main feature (which is decent...but too repetitive/boring/depressing at the middle/end). The Original ME/Warriors Scaffold Match is absolutely awful. I loved seeing Nastys/LOD again, just for the memories. Still gotta lot to watch. $21.99 - 5.00 rebate at FYE.

Sorry for starting a new thread, but.....

Buy the fucking DVD, that way, just maybe we'll get another show. It's well worth it. Usually I have no qualms about DL-ing PPVs, but in this case, you kinda should throw your cash towards it. Whether or not it was financed by the 'E is not the issue...the greatness of the show is. Seriously. How can anyone even watch the shit that will be Raw tonight and say anything but "meh" with TYSON TOMKO MAIN EVENTING after that PPV is absurd. -

I think Taker/Brock's a bit better than HBK/Taker now, only becaused the first HIAC has aged horribly. -
Hey Conspiracy Victim, The Juggernaut is not a huge muscular man by nature. There's a crystal, the "Cytorak Crystal" I think its spelled that powers up he who claims it. This is what makes Cain Marko (Juggernaut) the force he is. __________ Hey Lil Naith, Elektra was a shitty movie. HOWEVER, it was a pretty decent comic book movie. Not as *star studded* or *crazy effects*-sprayed, but a much better overall FILM than X-Men 1, X-Men 2, Spider-Man 1, Daredevil, The Punisher, Blade, Blade 2, Alien Vs. Predator, Constantine, Blade 3, Hellboy, The Hulk, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I like Spidey 2 more tho.

I hope that asshole that directed "Bloodrayne" and some other stupid fucking video game movie ("House of the Dead?") does this, just so I don't have to see any morew fucking comic book movies. Seriously. It's not 1991 anymore. Once Fantastic Four does a shitty box office (guaranteed) I want it to slow down.

Lucha, This movie/video, is this a piece that rips the likes of New Jack, Vampiro, Chyna, etc. ? Or is it a "look in the life" feature ala Beyond the Mat. Because if it attempts at doing a "Beyond the Mat"-esque take at the dangers of pro wrestling, and stars the those previously mentioned, I think it loses ALL credibility, due to the fact that the "name" stars in the film are all known problem-workers. Beyond the Mat's impact came from taking *superstars* such as Terry Funk, Mick Foley, Jake Roberts, etc., guys who became names, and then showing the ill-effects of the business when their career came to a close. If this video is attempting to portray those mentioned workers in the same light, it's a fucking joke, and doesn't deserve your time in mentioning it. Some info. would be great, thanks! -
definately worth it... a lot of them are really great full screen quality...and some aren't. oh well. But it's like 180 matches so far for 4 bucks. why would you even ask?
-
Survivor Series is a "major" PPV? No. They just have both rosters on it. Uh, no...there's two major PPVs. Rumble and Mania. SSeries was awful last year, and with the likes of Maven and Snitsky main eventing this "major" PPV, I think that defends my opinion.
-
Wow no Savage/Steamboat on DVD? Ha. This set looks pretty shitty, except for a few matches already released on DVD or some "nostalgia" moments. Seriously, I just can't get into the boring era of Backlund, Sheik, Valentine, etc. in 2005 again.

Test actually (very impressive, too) got the pumphandle on Kane, spinning him up and over his shoulder for the powerslam. However, from there, Kane used his weight to do the tombstone spot, reversing it. Good little short match. -
YES I AM SO HAPPY!

*** WCW Monday Nitro (1-Hour Broadcast) 05-12-97 - Randy Savage (now off crutches) talks trash on Dallas Page (who comes out on crutches), as Eric Bischoff anounced that Sting called him and they'll talk tonight. 1. WCW Television Champion Ultimo Dragon defeated Juventud Guerrera via submission with the Dragon Sleeper. After the match, Steven Regal (dropping the "Lord" gimmick) announces he'll "go back to his roots" and win back the WCW Television Title at Slamboree. - Guerrera "tapped out". 4. Hugh Morrus & Konnan defeated Ice Train & Alex Wright when Konnan made Ice Train submit to the "Tequila Sunrise" after Alex Wright abandoned his partner. - Wright officially turned heel. Train "tapped out".
