  1. Debra McMichael, during an interview with the Horsemen on Nitro when they were playing up "dissention" between Anderson, Mongo, Woman, Benoit, and Flair. "And I'll tell ya, Mean Gene. The real reason Woman has been acting so weird lately and not showing up to the arena for Horsemen matches? I think it's because of all the weight she put on during the holidays." Debra then waves to the crowd as Arn and Flair stare at her wanting to kill her.
  2. The MSNBC guy is totally right for giving Vince shit for the tribute show. With Eddie and Owen, the heavily rumored possibility of them being a murderer wasn't existant. Vince needs to apologize tonight, on Smackdown, and on Raw, for the tribute show. Chris Benoit should then never be mentioned again on WWE television. Nor should his matches ever be released on another DVD.
  3. Expect an apology, MSNBC claims.
  4. MVP and Benoit will be fixed when I feel like thinking about WWE.
  5. For those of you no familiar with Nancy Benoit aka Woman: Back in '89, the Steiner Brothers were forming and got super over as a tag team. Rick Steiner fell in love with this nerdy girl in the crowd named Robin Green. The Steiners, who were already accompanied to the ring by Missy Hyatt and sometimes their pet pit bull Arnold, took Green under their wing. Missy Hyatt then gave Green a "makeover" and low and behold, she was hot! During a World Tag Team Title match against champions The Fabulous Freebirds, one of the Steiners got tripped on the outside and fell to the Freebird DDT, losing their big match. The camera man purposely didn't see who did the tripping. However, Missy Hyatt flipped and was all "SHE DID IT!" I'm pretty sure Green did it by mistake, but Missy in her face and the Steiners distrust of her caused her to go off the deep end, and find a tag team to take out Rick and Scott. Enter: The team of DOOM. Green, now called "Woman", took the masked Doom team to Halloween Havoc '89 against the easily favored Steiners. And after a rather not so good match, Doom pulled off the upset. Doom would be a big thorn in the Steiners' side in PPV matches, eventually taking their World Tag Team Titles after Woman left Doom for the Horsemen and Teddy Long began managing them in 1990. So Woman was with Flair and the Horsemen now, but would only be with them for part of 1990 before leaving WCW altogether. She'd go on to manage and recreate The Sandman, as well as his partner 2 Cold/Gold Scorpio in ECW. She would return to WCW in early 1996 as part of Randy Savage & Hulk Hogan's entourage of beautiful ladies at ringside, to play mindgames with Ric Flair. Eventually, she'd reunite with Flair just a month later, ironically during Chris Benoit's World Title match with Randy Savage on Nitro. From there, she really became specifically alligned with Benoit.
  6. I hope Nancy and Daniel get a graphic, and maybe a short feature on Nancy managing Sandman & Scorpio, Doom, The Horsemen, etc. could be aired to explain to the newbs just who she was.
  7. I'm in shock over this. I keep telling myself that someone else did this to the family, but I know deep down that the facts have been checked and Chris Benoit, the guy I marked out for in WCW backl in 1992-93 when no one did, my favorite ECW star in the mid 90's, the guy I popped for wrestling Sasaki at World War 95 and went apeshit when he got to be a Horseman, my favorite guy because he could WRESTLE and just seemed like such a badass, plus the guy I marked out for in the biggest moment of me being a fan at WM 20, is a cold-blooded murdered. Fuck you, Chris Benoit. I want to say "well, let him rest in peace" and "at least his pain has ended" but fuck that. He murdered Woman, who was THE fucking coolest ringside manager next to Elizabeth, and a young boy. His son. If everything is true, then Chris Benoit is truly no longer a legendary trendsetter in professional wrestling, he's the biggest disgrace the sport has ever seen.
  8. Well, it's pretty much confirmed that Benoit suffucated the son and strangled Nancy, then hung himself. It's what every news outlet is reported they've been told. This is so sad. Benoit was my favorite wrestler, I'll never forget all the memories he gave me, but I'll never forget what he did to destroy his legacy, either. He's like a real-life Anakin Skywalker, not trying to be funny or anything. The best at what he did, and ultimately threw it all away and destroyed himself and those he loved.
  9. And anyone making jokes about the death of the families seriously deserves a banning. What the fuck? Would you like a bunch of cowardly people making fun of your innocent little boy that was murdered in his bed?
  10. "Trust me, it won't beat the Montreal Screwjob." Are you retarded? The "Montreal Screwjob" was not on one newscast, because it could have easily been fake, and dealt with a wrestler ultimately getting shipped off that was leaving anyway. This is the real life death of a legend and his family. And alledgedly he murdered them and killed himself. And like it or not, more people have seen Benoit matches than Bret matches, due to Benoit's national exposure peaking during the Attitude Era and having many more years during WWE's publicized "glam era" during the 2000s. Bret and some "controversy" that only wrestling fans cared about because of his not wanting to lose a fake match for his fake belt hardly compares. It's much bigger than Bret Hart refusing to lose his "title belt" in a fake sport during a fake match and subsequently getting fucked over by a boss on the spot. For God's sake, be realistic.
  11. It still hasn't sunk in yet that Chris Benoit, THE Chris Benoit, died.
  12. "Nothing more can show the quality of someone's character than going against the grain and being happy for someone when they are happy." I don't agree with that statement whatsoever but I'll drop it. Chavo's interview about Chris made me forget Stephanie's latest emotional interview self-promotion of her family.
  13. Yeah, but it just bugs me that Stephanie felt the need to discuss herself and her family AGAIN during an emotional time, and use Benoit's words to put over her marriage instead of talking about him and his family.
  14. "CHRIS BENOIT THOUGHT IT WAS SO COOL THAT I MARRIED TRIPLE H" Stephanie kicks the Internet Fans in the balls.
  15. Oh my God, Stephanie McMahon drops the "LMAO" line of the century.
  16. Alright, this JBL cage match is pretty great.
  17. Somewhere Benoit is looking down from the heavens saying "A JBL match? You're ribbin' me."
  18. Malenko looks a lot healthier and in better shape than he has in quite some time.
  19. Despite McMahon appearing, the "Who Killed Vince?" storyline seems to be continuing, probably next week, but not as dominant until 2 weeks from now. That's the tone I got from Vince.
  20. I believe the crowd starts booing when the match gets more time at the end. Heenan just claimed there are 250,000 fans at this show.
  21. You know, it's really disgusting that somewhere a kid is going to tune into Raw tonight and say "ugh, another tribute show for the 3rd straight week" and turn it off. Really disgusting. Ironic that WWE has conditioned its fanbase to "laugh at death" for 2 weeks and then we lose CHRIS FUCKING BENOIT.
  22. Murder/suicide, please don't be this.
  23. The other thread dealt with a fake angle and made light of a funeral. Please lock it. I can't believe this news.
  24. Wow. The Undertaker and Paul Bearer have to totally be involved with the funeral. If Taker is physically able to give a couple chokeslams out to Shane and Vince's heel minions, that'd rock, like if they refuse to "let go of Vince's memory" and decide that the casket will not be buried or something. If that happened I'd even forgive that PPV from last night.
  25. I can't wait to see Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold interact tonight. And Tully Blanchard standing next to Arn Anderson. How cool will it be to have The Rock and Mr. Kennedy within feet of each other? Surely, every guy that Vince has ever made money for will be at his "live, broadcasted on TV so even if you hate him you better be there to not look like an asshole to the fans" funeral service tonight. Man, the thought of Kamala in a suit is something I can't even wait for. Plus, we'll get Bret Hart tonight. It's going to be awesome. Pretty much every single important wrestler ever except Sting will be on Raw, tonight. Yeah, or not. WWE will screw this up again and by 11 pm the "Jackass" guys will be babyfaces that Stephanie and Shane will promise revenge to. But at least we might get some hilarity with seeing WORLD CHAMPION JOHNNY NITRO.
