  1. RE: The big shocking "death" that's making news. In Civil War: The Initiative One-Shot, Ms. Marvel clearly states that "He isn't dead. He's alive on The Raft. We're doing what we can to help him." Which MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE, since The Initiative one-shot was supposed to be a LEAD-IN to the "shocking death" issue, but references it!!!!!!!!!!! I was like "What the fuck? Ya done spoiled me!" MARVEL IS STUPID.
  2. In a beautifully kayfabed world not a single person would show up to his funeral. But the sewer rats cage would be there. Covered by a black tablecloth.
  3. Punk needs to help Michaels beat Cena for the WWE Title and kick-start a heel DX run, with Punk playing HHH circa 1997.
  4. The girl you're thinking of is Kari Matchett, she starred on Invasion a little while back.
  5. Listen what I say oh.
  6. 76ers are only 6 games out.
  7. "barring Gabriel Gonzaga pulling off the biggest upset since Tyson-Douglas" That already happened when Grandpa George Foreman won the World Title.
  8. The hottest team in the East is the Philadelphia 76ers. Dallas must be laughing it up.
  9. That fucking Lance Armstrong thread better be there or this is moot.
  10. Oh man that first link is hilarious.
  11. Jackson's "Snakes" tanked and left a bad taste and Ricci is a never-was, albeit an underrated and quite talented never-was, with today's crowd, so I expected Moan to do nothing.
  12. One of the worst shows I have ever seen. Seriously, a room of 10 started watching it after the bad Family Guy episode, everyone started leaving within minutes. We watched the DVR'd Pilot episode, mind you. A LAUGH TRACK???? No good show has a laugh track, nowdays. So lame. Every 3 seconds there was a laugh track. Nothing was funny. Hideous attempt at humor. Will be cancelled after 6 episodes.
  13. He's the UFC mark. Nice rigged Randy title reign, BTW.
  14. I bet his back is hairy and full of pimples.
  15. Pacific Time. ECW doesn't have any main eventers, so no poster spot.
  16. "Only people like UTSU actually bother to notice that Benoit doesn't appear everyweek or lost a match at one point or another because he holds stock in a win-loss record in a worked tv show." Hey troll... Could it be that I, and a shitload of other people more intelligent than you, actually notice Benoit being off TV because he's the second highest champion yet gets thrown into random crappy PPV six-man matches the week of the event? OR MAYBE, after 3 weeks, we're like, "HEY, WHERE'S THE U.S. CHAMPION?" God, the "UTSU likes stats!" thing is so old, get a fucking clue. It's not even so much that it bothers me, it's that it makes you seem like a retard.
  17. Benoit getting the rub from Triple H in 2004, because Benoit was booked to like an idiot against the retarded Eugene and couldn't beat him on Raw, plus the Benoit/HHH rematches (Iron Man and Vengeance PPV) weren't very good. Then Benoit gets beat twice by Triple H's lapdog, Randy Orton, only for Triple H to ultimately come out on top and crush Orton. Oh, and don't forget HHH main eventing Raw PPVs despite Benoit being the World fucking Champion. Plus, Benoit's two big challenges came in the form of two BATTLE ROYAL WINNERS, which is never good, in Orton and Kane.
  18. "People use that word (buried) far too liberally around here without applying it in the right content." Benoit has been off TV for weeks. He just lost the MITB qualifier. If he loses the U.S. Title, then fails to win it at WM, then loses AGAIN in a "Loser Leaves Match", THAT'S A BURIAL. That will mean he has lost every important match against people at his "level", ala Orton, Test, and RVD. I understand what you mean with saying losing two matches isn't a burial, but this is quite a different scenario.
  19. Jericho's program with Malenko in 1998 got Malenko MEGA over as a babyface, see Slamboree '98. Of course they f'd that up.
  20. Sable or Terri should induct Lawler, as he's become a one-dimensional horny WWE tranny diva fan yelling "puppies" ever since they began showing the skin in '97-'98.
  21. Re: Loser Leaves Town Only if MVP wins the title before WrestleMania. Benoit wouldn't agree to such a match AND put his title on the line. And they'd totally bury Benoit by having him drop two straight. Methinks Benoit wins by DQ or something at Mania. Every classy WM has a bullshit countout/DQ finish. Eh, I dunno. _________ You know...it's been 2 years.... LET'S SHAKE THINGS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. No DVD, HOF mention, toys, etc. Alledged rumor, and a big rumor it is, was Savage nailed a young Stephanie...blah blah. I popped in WWF Raw is War from November 10, 1997. From Ottawa, the day after the "screwjob". This was well into Savage being a constant WCW main eventer, and long after the incident with Stephanie would have occurred. JR does a sit-down with the returning Jeff Jarrett to discuss his thoughts on certain wrestlers. They do word association. Bret Hart: "Dedication." NOD: "Strength in numbers." Then, they show a clip of Randy Savage. Ross: "Randy Savage." Jarrett: "The Hardest Working Wrestler I've Ever Known." Why would WWE air such a segment? An attempt to recruit Savage to the WWF? It was heavily rumored at this time. But why would they basically put over Savage if he was blackballed? Perhaps the incident was revealed when Stephanie became a regular TV fixture in '99-'00. I don't know. Throw in TONS of hyped Savage matches on MSG Classics and plenty of WM Recall footage, and I don't know what to believe. Is there ANY reason to believe this Savage rumor is true? What has been put out on the 'net from Meltzer? MY BELIEF: Savage never did anything with Stephanie McMahon. Savage verbally guaranteed Vince he would be returning to the WWF in early 1998. Savage re-nigged on his word. To reward him, Savage was given a WCW World Title reign in April 1998. Vince blackballed him because of this. INSANE PSYCHOTIC RANDY SAVAGE '97 Vs. CRAZY OVER FOUL-MOUTHED STEVE AUSTIN... Man, Vince had a gold mine.
  23. "Seriously, not even Hogan, the biggest draw in the ever, had a streak like that." Missed two main events due to technicalities, I guess...but Hogan was in the most hyped WM match at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, split on 8, and 9 (tag title match was hyped more than Bret/Yoko).
