Wrong, RoTK's budget was $94 million. Wrong, LotR cost 94 to make, but throw in another 50 marketing.
-
I just have to say it fucking rules that Will Ferrell starred in the movie with the best gross/budget ratio this year. Unless LotR hit the 410 mil mark, which could happen but I wouldn't bet on it.

I think Ramsey is going to be an excellent QB unless he gets shell shocked like Akili Smith did. He can make some beautiful throws, but they hung him out to dry with no running game and a O-line that seriously underachieved.

I like that Home/Road split. Granted, a.) The Eagles are better on the road than home and b.) like it was mentioned things don't work out the way they should on paper. But looking at that right now it is hard to dispute that 5 of the 6 toughest non-division teams come to Philly, which can't be bad.

It wouldn't really matter where they pick, because I doubt Reid would use another high pick on a receiver. Now that Mitchell is worthy of playing time, he has three receivers that he likes, so it's doubtful he would bring on another high pick. They'll probably pick some DBs high this year since they will lose Vincent and/or Taylor, my money would be on losing both.

Philadelphia Eagles: - Health. Their biggest need is run stuffers and their two biggest ones are on the IR in Hollis Thomas and Paul Grasmanis - Big play WR. Despite contentions to the contrary, they need one guy to open up the field more.

I am certainly in for another year. I must defend my title as JTTS (perfect title for Super Bowl jobber). Uh yeah.....and I forgot the password to Marvins league as well. Yeah, that's the ticket.
-
If I were the Chargers I would trade down with Rivers, Roethlisberger, and Manning available. They are probably going to be gunshy to do that, after passing on Vick. Of course I also thought the Eagles should have taken the Saints- Ricky Williams offer and draft Cade McNown. So take my opinion for what it's worth.
-
It helps their cap for the next two years, but they are going to have to make up for that at some point.

Did you notice who posted a lot in the Buffy thread and showed up in the next most recent thread? And did you see the classification of the person who posted most in the most recent classic thread? Therein lies the answer my friend.

Fuck yeah on FERTIG~!

I'll also throw in it being so terrible, that I decided to give PRIDE a shot. That's an indirect positive.
-
If we are going to do an offline draft we need to start it now, at the rate the NBA one went.

KC vs. Philly He is still a hero around these parts. Granted, I am sure they still like him around St. Louis. But he is a staple in the Philly area.
-
Benoit-Angle The emergence of John Cena as a potential future player TWGTT emerging as the best tag team in NA The other things just create more negatives: - Jericho carries Raw -Result: nothing to show for it - Eddie Guerrero on fire with fans -Result: Chavo comes back so they push him back down

If the Eagles don't get to the Super Bowl this year, I guarantee there is going to be an uprising in Philly to blow up the whole team. Injuries or not, there is no excuse for them not coming out of the NFC now with the home field advantage.
-
Holy shit dude. On a sadder note, next week's NFC games look like they are going to suck the fat one. Seattle gets massacred in GB Carolina and Dallas play a shitty game and one pulls out an ugly win
-
Didn't think so.
-
Congrats to your new TSM champions, the Laffayette Ephedras. I am just happy I got blown out so there I can't piss myself off thinking about the little shit. Just start calling me the Buffalo Bills. Two straight Super Bowl losses. Next year's my year. Really this time.

Yeah, you can't ignore the reaction that Orton gets during his entrance. He seems like half the time he gets greeted with WOOOOOOOOs. Granted that is probably because Flair is usually with him, but we can ignore that. Let's look at it this way. Pros for Orton winning the rumble: - young - um.....has a six pack? (Apparently that means something, since that is what 90% of his character is)

Terrell Suggs was Arizona State.
-
Iowa State? Didn't Suggs go to Va. Tech?
-
I know he was good in college, but come on. Nice el choko by the Bengals.
-
How could the Rams choke like that? Having control of home field, fighting to prevent having to go to Philly (with much different conditions that in St.Louis) and they lose to the Lions? I feel much better now.
