  1. In the NBA draft there was a round before the first round of the draft. In that round were all of the teams that did not have keepers. They went through the teams once, came back around snake style and finished up the madness round. After that came the normal draft with all teams.
  2. I've got no problem with that idea. I do reserve the right to bitch though when I end up keeping the limit and there are 50 picks ahead of me. Doesn't mean I don't like the idea.
  3. But it was stated earlier that if we go to dynasty there might be some trades in the offseason. So maybe we could get some value from a player that you would otherwise drop. Example: Say I end up with 7 players I would consider to keep Manning Driver Robinson Green Westbrook Blaylock Baltimore (not that they all interest me, but hypothetical here) Team B: Favre Alexander Gonzalez Muhammad Barber So they end up with 5 players and no one else they would consider. What if they wanted to offer Alexander for Westbrook and Blaylock? It is not something they would do for this season, but maybe something they wanted to do for next so they would have a full keeper roster. And it would also let me upgrade a RB spot by using someone I was planning on dropping.
  4. I am eagerly anticipating an eventual May 2006 release date at this point. That way if it actually does come out before then I can be pleasantly surprised.
  5. If we do dynasty, why not hold off on announcing players just in case you want to trade for someone and keep them on your team?
  6. I assume we are talking about dynasty with the 6 players as Flik proposed as opposed to the full team Harley mentioned, correct? The entire team is a little too much, since although you can improve via trades and a good rookie it would be way too similar each year with the same whole team.
  7. I heart David "0.3" Givens. I like the dynasty idea.
  8. Wasn't Abreu a Lee Thomas deal that only got finalized as Wade was taking over?
  9. In regards to Utah's D. Don't overlook the fact, they score so much that they are going to allow more points and yards just based on the fact they give their opponents more drives.
  10. What do they add to the table? Access to Lincoln Financial Field. I would think that is a big plus to a smaller conference.
  11. THURSDAY Connecticut Pittsburgh FRIDAY Nebraska LSU Texas A&M Arizona State SATURDAY Maryland South Florida Virginia Iowa State Mississippi State Tulane Southern Miss Louisiana Tech Oklahoma State Notre Dame Tiebreak #1: How many total points will be scored in the A&M/Texas game? 50 Tiebreak #2: How many yards passing Pittsburgh's Tyler Palko have against West Virginia? 300
  12. I thought I heard on the one sportscenter that the crying kid was one of the player's kids.
  13. Small print like what is on the back of a ticket is not worth the paper it's printed on. And, if you run onto a court during a fight you better expect to get hit. That guy should and will get nothing and O'Neal should get off leniant.
  14. Tinsley's hurt, wrist contusion.
  15. I have faith that they just dressed Kaylee up for the photo. They'll give the jumpsuit (with the bear) back. My question is, when did Wash ever have a holster and sidearm?
  16. How is Artest lying on the table being a punk? If he gets back in Wallace's face it becomes "See, we all knew Artest was just some thug who hasn't figured anything out yet". If he runs away (he was already backing off), Wallace likely keeps pursuing and something comes from that. By laying on the table he shows how stupid the whole ordeal was. (god I feel so dirty defending Artest) And I think the NBA did the right thing here. No matter where you stand on the issue, it is known there would be suspensions for going into the stands. This way Stern can say they came down swiftly and harshly. If after reviewing the tape they decide to be leniant then they can make a proper response, but still showed they took care of the matter swiftly.
  17. If Weaver wants to play, he should go into Boras' office and say get a contract done. By no means am I a Boras fan, but he is looking to get the best deal for his client. If his client decides that the best deal is to get in now, then and only then, should his concern be to get Weaver signed quickly. Otherwise, if he thinks he can get more money than oh well he'll do what he wants.
  18. I am amused by Tim Legler acting as if anyone ever ridiculed him. People have to care about you before they ridicule you. Of course if I wanted to ridicule him I would point out how he ran off with a 18 year old girl he coached and left his family and then she dumped him. If I wanted to be mean that is.
  19. That fan just got JACKED UP! Whoops, wrong ESPN show. Well, I can't wait to read Stephen A. Smith's next article in the Philly Inquirer somehow relating this all back to race (believe me, it will happen).
  20. Holy shit, just saw for the first time, O'Neal flat out floor the one guy who was on the court. That was awesome.
  21. I don't think he should blame any of his players but he should ream his team's fans a new one.
  22. Nice to see the Pistons CEO dump it all onto Artest and say he was swinging wildly. Funny how he just appeared to swing at the one guy until he felt someone else take a shot at him.
  23. Right, that is the one I was talking about. Did not see the later video. But still more power to Jackson then.
  24. TE, are you talking about the guy that Artest originally went after, because I was talking about the guy in the blue Wallace shirt. And if Jackson nailed him after the guy took shots at Artest more power to him.
  25. I like the asshole in the blue shirt throwing jabs at Artest while he is being restrained.
